Story
Finnegan is a sweet boy - well behaved - yet, will be shy at first with new people, but not aggressively so. He always seems to enjoy children & other dogs. Finn has lived with cats in the past & was fine with them, although would not overly interact with them - except to sniff them briefly, as they might walk by. Unfortunately, he has had seizures in the past & now is given meds that have seemed to help greatly! Health concerns are not my reason for giving him up - 'it breaks my heart, to do so' - however, so many places to live at will not allow for pets/dogs especially. Finn has good energy for 10+ years - he's actually at a pretty perfect stage, right now, behavior wise. Even, his potty habits are great, really! Enjoys car rides & he gets around with no problems - and will interact with you, as you interact with him.

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Barkley is expected to be a very large dog , estimated to weigh between 95 and 118 lbs. when fully grown. He has an incredibly relaxed and chill vibe. The puppies have started their crate and house training and are picking it up very quickly.  These six puppies were an accidental litter born on December 22 during an Eagles game. Their mother looks to have some Australian Shepherd and Retriever in her mix. She escaped the house when the owner's five-year-old forgot to close the gate. She was missing for eight days, so the identity of the father or fathers is unknown. The puppies have been raised around children and other pets, making them very well-socialized. They are currently being fostered in Diane's home and are going through puppy boot camp. They know that if they chase a cat, the cat will correct their mistake. If they jump up and nip at other dogs or people, that is also not acceptable.  Puppies that are taught good manners become better dogs, and consistent training decreases the likelihood of them being given up to a shelter. Adoption Fee: $500 includes neuter or ($100 REFUND with proof of neuter)  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG         BIRD        REPTILE          SMALL ANIMALS        May 10, 2025, 7:03 pm
