Story
Meet Dice – the total package Dice arrived to his foster home just in time for Easter weekend, and he’s already made himself right at home. This handsome border collie/lab mix is the perfect blend of playful and chill. He loves to run and play in the backyard, gets along great with other dogs, and when it’s time to relax, he’s an A+ napper. Dice is house trained, crate trained, listens well, and has lovely manners.  If you’re looking for a new family dog, Dice checks all the boxes—and I’d love to see him go to someone I know. He’s such a good boy and deserves the best. Dice will need a foster or foster to adopt scenario to help him get one step closer to finding his furever family.  Should you be interested in fostering or fostering to adopt Dice, please contact us at: Email: mostlymuttz@gmail.comWebsite: www.mostlymuttz.org #fosteringsaveslives #fostertoadopt #fostertoforever #mostlymuttzrescue #seekingpafoster Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2369912##

Story
I adopted Max from a rescue in 2016. He was almost 2 years old at the time. He's always been a very smart, loyal and healthy dog. He's over 10 years old now but still enjoys long walks and has never had an real health issues. Over the years though he became very protective of me and more recently my wife. His trainer calls it "resource guarding". He gets along great with people, kids and other dogs, as long as I am not around to protect. On walks he will react to other dogs and people if they get too close. Just barking, never biting. He also gets aggressive around smaller children. Which make it very difficult for my wife and I to start our family. We don't think it would be safe for a baby if Max was in the home. We are looking for experienced dog owners who know how to care for a healthy, but older dog. I think he would do fine with older kids and possibly another dog if they were introduced beforehand. I don't think he would do well with cats, or smaller children. Thanks

Story
Meet Smiley: Smiley is about a 7 month old (as of April 2025) border collie mix (best guess) that weighs about 38 pounds. Sweet Smiley and her sister, Peanut, were surrendered by their owner. Smiley is currently being fostered in the south and would love to catch the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Smiley is a sweet girl that is very active. As common with the border collie breeds, Smiley will need mental stimulation and plenty of exercise. Smiley is good with other dogs and children. Smiley is doing well with house training, crate training and leash handling and should thrive with consistency. Smiley will need a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Smiley is up to date on her shots and being spayed in early April. If you are interested in adding this smart, energetic girl into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
