Story
We got Wood about four years ago. He’s been such a good dog! He lives in a house with three kids and plays great with them and their friends. Recently, I’ve started having terrible allergies that are causing me issues. Because of that, we’ve kept him outside a lot of the time, unless it’s too cold, or at night we bring him in. This has helped my allergies and worked well. But we’ve recently needed to sell our house and see now in an apartment, where we can’t keep him outside for long periods of time. I’d love to find a home for him that can keep him inside, and ideally have children for him to play with.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Don’t you love this beautiful face?  Hi I’m Kacy!  40 lbs of the most gorgeous Aussie mix you’ve ever seen.  I’m 2 1/2 years old and I absolutely love every human I’ve ever met.  My foster parents say I’m such a great dog, I’m potty trained, dog door trained, crate trained, and never destructive in the house.  I love chew toys but my favorite is a rope and I would love it if you’ll play tug of war with me!   Exercise is really important to me, I love going for walks and hikes, I am an amazing camping and fishing buddy!  I would be fine as an only dog, I really love my foster sisters but it takes me a while to be comfortable around new dogs.  I’m a little shy about talking about this but I do have a medical condition that my pawrent would need to help me with.  I have allergies but they are pretty well controlled with a prescription diet and a medication.  They can give you more info when we talk on the phone.  They can attest that I’m totally worth it!  If you wanna meet me head on over to  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  and ask for Kacy!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2023, 11:43 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello! My name is Meredith Grey. I am a 7 year old Aussie mix. I am weighing about 54 lbs but could use some help shedding some pounds. I am looking for a family that will take me on hikes and adventures. I love riding in the car and being next to my human. I am kennel trained and house trained. I also no some basic commands like sit, paw, and down. I have been around children and I absolutely adore them. I have not lived with a cat but when I have seen one on my walk I try to chase them, so not cat siblings for me. My most favorite thing to do is following my human around and snuggling. If you are interested in meeting me, you can apply at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication . Story
Sawyer is a super sweet, shy guy looking for people, and hopefully a well-adjusted dog friend, to help him grow into a confident pup! This 2 year old husky mix came to CAWS from a hoarding situation, so he's used to being around other dogs but needs help learning to socialize with people and new situations. He's a gentle boy who gets along well with older children and teens, but finds young children way too unexpected and, frankly, a little frightening. Sawyer's favorite thing to do is to lay on the back porch of his foster home and watch the neighborhood activities. Because of his history, Sawyer can get a little selfish about his things and his people, so he needs an experienced person who will help him learn to share! Won't you help Sawyer on his journey?Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationSeptember 29, 2023, 7:54 am

Story
Bailey is 6 years old and such an obedient, loving pet! She loves to play, but she’ll match your energy and is happy to just hang around the house. She’s amazing with kids, very gentle and tolerant and is great with other dogs. She is very well trained and can be on or off leash. We’re heartbroken that we can no longer give her the care she needs, we want to find her a great home where she can continue to be happy.

Story
Looking for a loving home for my daughters 4 year old lab/border collie mix, Leo. Her living arrangement is changing. He is very smart, obedient, loyal and a fast learner. They have had him since he was a very small puppy (5 weeks). He does have some nervous traits due to being so little when taken from his mother. These traits (nervous belly, walking in circles,) are not a deal breaker and only add to his sweet personality. He has been around my 2 grandchildren since they got him and has always been good with them. He has picked up quickly on every trick, command etc that he has been taught. He has been raised around ferrets, birds, small dogs and has never showed any aggression. He does seem to prefer smaller dogs over larger. Leo does well on a leash but doesn't like being pulled by just his collar. Leo would love a home with a yard, he has so much energy and would be a great hiking buddy! The more movement and exercise, the happier he gets!
