Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Appa and I’d love to be your puppy! But I promise I would continue to love you even when I’m older!   I have so much fun playing with other puppies, but if they get too rough, I let them know, regardless of their size. I’m the smallest in my house but likely won’t stay that way. My breed is unknown and I will likely be on the larger side. Lots of people say I might have some Great Pyrenees in me.    I started life in a shelter and finally found a foster home but immediately got really sick. My foster mom worried so much about me and would cry every morning when she woke up and found that I was still there with her.  I recovered and am making up for the time I was sick by playing and eating and learning every second I can. I recently learned that it’s really easy to climb the play pen. Neither of my foster brothers can do that and they are bigger and older. I only climb it when my foster mom is getting my breakfast. Or lunch. Or dinner. Or if I just really need to see what she is doing. She says I’m her furry shadow. She doesn’t seem to mind too much though because I don’t chew things up and I’m potty trained so don’t make messes in the house. I also know how to use the doggie door and I sleep all night. I do like to get up early though because the sooner my foster mom gets up the sooner I get breakfast.  My favorite thing in the whole wide world is being with people. I’m always trying my best to follow my foster mom around and be with her even when she’s busy with other things. I love to be held by her and to snuggle. When she is near, I immediately roll on my back and am ready for a belly rub. That’s just the best!    Boy, do I like to eat! My foster mom started using a slow feed bowl so I could learn to savor my food. That’s probably my only fault. Well, to be honest, I sometimes use my outdoor voice if my foster mom has ignored me for too long.  After all, I’m just a puppy!   I like other puppies, kids, and am around cats. But I mostly ignore cats because they don’t seem to want to play with me. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Lil’ Brother, and I was born on March 27, 2025. I’m a proud Australian Shepherd mix pup—with a lot of fluff, a whole lot of energy, and a big heart that beat parvo like a champ! Yep, I got real sick when I was little, but I wasn’t about to give up. I fought hard, and now I’m stronger, sillier, and more full of life than ever. I LOVE to play. Like, all the time. Toys? Yes. Sticks? Yes. Your shoelaces? Double yes. I’m fast, smart (sometimes too smart), and maybe just a tiny bit mischievous—okay, a lot. But come on, it’s all part of my charm. I’m still growing, but they say I might get up to 65 pounds one day and stand around 20 inches tall. Honestly though, I already take up a lot of space… in your heart. If you’re looking for a happy, bouncy, tail-wagging shadow who will follow you everywhere and try to herd the cat—hi, nice to meet you. That’s me.!! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do you know what's better than chocolate? A chocolate colored dog, aka me, Amberlyn! Not only can I make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, I can make you warm & fuzzy on the outside too! I love cuddles! Another plus is I don't add any calories to your diet. In fact I help with keeping you fit, as I love to be active. I'm in the sweet spot of age too. Im only 2 years old and 45lbs. They say I'm a retriever mix of some kind, probably collie or aussie, but who knows. That's why I have an abundance of energy, I guess. I'm up for any activity you want to do hiking, fetch, tug, running, training, maybe even swimming. You name it lets do it. A little secret though is I need a family that will also help me take a chill pill. I can get too wound up from to much activity and I can have a tough time settling. No worries though! I crate really well and it helps settle me down. That being said a house with older kids, 12 years and up would be best. I do also get along with some other dogs but my energy and pushiness to play can be annoying apparently. Don't worry though I'm happy being my own entertainment. Not only am I a great activity buddy but I love to learn. I would love for my family to invest in training classes. I've got a head start on my sit, down, wait and stay but boy oh boy would I love to do more!   Apply to meet me today!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2025, 3:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Get yourself a box of tissues for this read: We are excited to present Junne and Jena for adoption! These brown-eyed beauties are almost identical sisters. Our best guess is that they are some sort of Australian Shepherd/Collie mix. They are medium-sized, about 45 pounds each, and both approximately 1.5 years old. Jena and Junne were unfortunately (to absolutely no fault of their own) dumped at a very high kill shelter in New Mexico and were not likely to make it out alive as the shelter was at max capacity. To make matters worse these mamas were also dumped with 10 nursing puppies between the two of them. Both girls were underweight, with rough coats from pregnancy and lack of nutrition. Despite their condition and circumstances these excellent mamas were raising little fat, fluffy, healthy, and happy puppies, whom they adored. The 12 of them were sharing one cramped cement kennel where they all awaited their fate. Thanks to an incredible team of fosters, drivers, and other volunteers these 12 souls made it out of New Mexico and were brought to Utah to be placed in foster care! Junne and Jena said one last goodbye to their babies and went into separate foster care. Our broken hearts so wish this story didn’t take the turn that it did. Junne and Jena’s babies did not get the preventative medical care that they needed before coming to Rescue Rovers and contracted a particularly nasty strain of parvovirus. Despite donations, excellent veterinary care, and around-the-clock eyes on them from incredible volunteer nurses, most of these sweet babies did not survive. They were given every fighting chance, and we are grateful that at the very least they passed where they were in a warm cozy bed, safe, with so much love and so many people rooting for them, instead of passing at the stressful and scary shelter because they were unwanted. On a happier note, Junne and Jena did not contract Parvovirus! These shy girls were most likely not treated very well by humans and have been very hungry and in survival mode for much of their lives. Even with what they have been through they are thriving in their foster home! They are getting plenty to eat and are learning to just be happy, care-free dogs. They are getting amazing socialization almost daily with lots of people and other dogs. They both love to play and love people so so much. Junne is the one pictured with mostly tan on her back and a little bit more white on her face. She is the shyer one, when first coming to her foster home she would crawl up to everyone with very squinty eyes and a waggly tail just begging for some love. She has been coming out of her shell beautifully. When she occasionally feels a little nervous about something new or a loud noise, she quietly sneaks off to lie in her crate for a little while, where she feels safe. She loves to come up to people particularly who are sitting down and put her paws on them asking for some pets. She loves to romp around with other dogs, wrestling and playing chase. She is somewhat more submissive with other dogs although she will stick up for herself if she needs to. She has also been seen educating less mature dogs on their manners, in a very motherly fashion.   Jena is mostly white on her back with a big spot and a little less white on her face. Although Jena can be a bit shy here and there, she is certainly the bolder one of the two. Jena always wants to play with all the other dogs and loves to run! Like Junne, Jena also likes to put her paws on the people she loves. She especially likes to come into her foster mom’s room in the morning to sweetly put her paws on her and let her know she would like to go outside, eat breakfast, and be loved. Junne and Jena are both wonderful in their crates. Jena would prefer to be out and about with the pack than in her crate and can whine a tiny bit at first but settles in with no problems. These girls are big fans of their fluffy beds and don’t chew on them, they have not been destructive in the house either. They have been known to try and eat food off the counter, more so when they first came into foster care, but we don’t blame them one bit and gently tell them no when we’ve seen it and they’ve already improved. They don’t have accidents in the house and are great at using the dog door or asking to go out. Although we haven’t seen these girls around cats, they could likely adjust to a cat roommate with no problem. They love kids but can be a little intimidated by loud kids running at them, they would probably do best with a baby or gentle kids who can be calm around a new dog. We are on the hunt for excellent homes for these most deserving, darling girls where they can be happy and safe for the rest of forever. If you feel like this is your home, please apply to meet Junne and Jena today at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2025, 12:51 am

I was born on March 27, 2025, and I’m a proud little Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. When I was really small, I got super sick with something called parvo. It was scary, but I’m a fighter—and I made it! Now every cuddle, treat, and belly rub feels like a little celebration. I may be tiny, but my personality is huge. I absolutely love to cuddle—on the couch, in your lap, on your feet… wherever you are, that’s where I want to be. But don’t let my snuggly side fool you—I’ve also got a playful spark! I chase toys, pounce like a pro, and zoom around like the world is my playground. They say I’m going to grow into a beautiful, medium-sized (possible up to 65 pounds) girl with a big smile and an even bigger heart. I’m just happy to be here, loved, safe, and ready to make every day a little brighter (and maybe a little sillier too). I'm still in my teenage phase, which means I've got Gidget-up-and-go energy and a playful spirit that just won't quit. I know some basic commands, love toys, and treats are basically my love language. I might need a little help polishing my manners (hey, I'm still learning!), but I'm super smart and eager to please. I'm confident and affectionate once I feel safe, though I may need a little time to warm up to new people and places.
