Story
My husband & I purchased Noah from a guy who lived across the street from us. His brother breeds Australian Shepherds and Noah and his sister were the only ones left. We usually adopt but Noah and his sister kept escaping his backyard. So we were afraid they’d get hit by a car. So we bought them. They’re both 5 years old. My husband & I are getting divorced and I have moved out of our house. I am living with my sister and cannot have them live with me as my nephew & brother in law are allergic to dogs. My husband hits Noah and his sister when he’s angry or they do something he doesn’t like. I want them to have a home where they’re not scared all the time and don’t get hit. They would do best in a home where the owners live an active lifestyle. Their breed needs lots of exercise. So if you hike, run, or anything active they would be excellent companions. I would prefer they be adopted together as they’ve been together all their lives. Her name is Sophie.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings, humans! I’m Bomo, the most handsome lifeform in the known universe (and the sweetest!). At 3 years old and 38 pounds, I’m basically the supermodel of the Milky Way. Think “show dog energy” but make it intergalactic. I’m an Australian Shepherd, which means my brain operates at warp speed. I love to learn, I love to play, and I thrive when I have a mission. Agility? Yes. Mountain adventures? Absolutely. Training classes? Beam me up. If you’re looking for a co-pilot for hikes, trail runs, or anything that involves moving your body and using your brain, I am ready for launch. People are my favorite species. I’m friendly, sweet, and genuinely happy to meet new humans. I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m such a good-natured guy that I’d likely do well with respectful little astronauts. The shelter said I’m good with cats, and I’m happy to share my orbit with other dogs, too. I’m good on leash, I’ll sleep in a crate after playtime, and I’m mostly remembering my house training after my time in the shelter! Now I just need an active home that understands that an Australian Shepherd isn’t a couch comet. I’m high energy, high intelligence, and high devotion. Give me stimulation, structure, and love, and I will give you loyalty that spans galaxies. AND LOTS OF KISSES! If you’re ready to start your next great adventure with me, apply to meet me here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2026, 8:36 pm

Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJuly 24, 2025, 6:33 am

Story
Meet Benny! Looking for a brilliant best friend? This 6-month-old Border Collie/Aussie mix is as smart as he is sweet! Weighing in at about 25 lbs, Benny is the perfect blend of brains, heart, and playful puppy energy. Benny is a very smart dog, already crate-trained , almost completing house-training, and already knows “sit” and “shake”! He gets along well with other dogs but will chase cats. True to his herding-dog roots, Benny thrives on mental and physical fun. He loves playing fetch, playing with other dogs, learning new tricks with treats! The world is still a scary place for him and he is sensitive to loud noises and scared of walking nearby moving vehicles. He's looking for a family that understands his needs and is excited to continue his training with positive reinforcement. He could be little shy about meeting new people at first, but he warms up with patience and kindness—then his affectionate side shines through. Once he trusts you, he’s a world-class cuddler who bonds deeply with his people. He has medium energy and would love a yard where he can run, play, and stretch those long legs. He’s great with other dogs—his puppy enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, but a playful canine companion could be a perfect match. Bonus! Benny’s adoption includes two free training sessions with Clementine Dog Training, to help set him (and you!) up for success as he continues learning and growing. Benny would do best with: - A patient family familiar with herding breeds who can help him build confidence - Someone excited to continue positive reinforcement training and enrichment - A home with a yard for playtime - Potentially another playful, compatible dog If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion to grow with, Benny is your boy! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. His adoption fee is $200. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
