Story
Looking for a loving home for my daughters 4 year old lab/border collie mix, Leo. Her living arrangement is changing. He is very smart, obedient, loyal and a fast learner. They have had him since he was a very small puppy (5 weeks). He does have some nervous traits due to being so little when taken from his mother. These traits (nervous belly, walking in circles,) are not a deal breaker and only add to his sweet personality. He has been around my 2 grandchildren since they got him and has always been good with them. He has picked up quickly on every trick, command etc that he has been taught. He has been raised around ferrets, birds, small dogs and has never showed any aggression. He does seem to prefer smaller dogs over larger. Leo does well on a leash but doesn't like being pulled by just his collar. Leo would love a home with a yard, he has so much energy and would be a great hiking buddy! The more movement and exercise, the happier he gets!

Story
Meet Scooter! Scooter is a one-year-old border collie/cattle dog mix. Scooter is such a sweet boy. He loves snuggles, belly scratches, and treats. Scooter knows both “sit” and “shake” commands. He adores playing with other dogs and does not mind cats. He will chase if they run, but it's playful and he hasn’t ever hurt them. Scooter is a high-energy breed and definitely needs a lot of exercise, which is great when he plays with his doggie friends. He loves walks and playing fetch. Scooter can be a bit mouthy, and gets noisy when he plays, but he means well. He sleeps quietly all night in his kennel and is potty trained with a routine. He adores kids, but he would do best in a home with older children as he might knock over small ones accidentally. Scooter would be a perfect companion for anyone who is looking for a fun-loving, high-energy pal! He has so much personality and love to give. Scooter is a neutered male. He is vaccinated, negative for heartworm, and microchipped. If you think Scooter might just be the buddy for you, fill out an application form at www.uaaf.org. Story
Syrah is a two-year old who’s dad is a german shepherd/border collie and mom is a coonhound/bloodhound. She has very soft fur and is the snugglebug of the family. She is very treat motivated and is doing well with her leash training. She aims to please and can be pretty sensitive. She knows sit, come here, and go to your room (her crate). She is mostly house-trained and will tell you she needs to go outside. We have had one or two #1 accidents if she gets too excited chasing squirrels outside and forgets to go. She hates squirrels. We’ve had her around infants and toddlers and she is extremely patient and loving with them. She lets them play with her ears and paws and gives them big kisses. She will, however, steal their treats right from them. She plays well with her sister dog and with other dogs who visit us. We don’t know how she’ll be with cats. Hates squirrels She likes to cuddle by day but at night likes to sleep alone. She can be in her crate for a few hours.

Story
Sammy was found by my coworker at about four months old wandering the streets. She is now a year and is looking for a forever home. She is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. She is shy at first but once she is comfortable with you, you can’t stop the endless kisses and love she wants to give. She is happy to go for a walk or stay in all day with you. She loves running around with a dog or by herself. She does best with male dogs but gets along with female dogs as well. She is completely House trained and will only chew on the toys you get her. All she wants is a human to follow around and get pets from. Sammy needs a home!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, friends! My name is Cara Caramel! I’m a one-year old puppy and weigh 45 pounds.  I appear to be a border collie mix.  My fur is soooo silky and soft.  I’m a smart, friendly and good-natured girl ready to learn all the things!   I’m just now getting acquainted with the best things in life like car rides, walks, toys and scratches from nice people.  So far it’s all pretty amazing, but I still have a lot I want to learn.  Maybe YOU can teach me! I’m currently working on crate and potty training.  I sleep all night in my crate, but I don’t love it yet. I’ll need you to continue showing me how great it can be!  I love to run and play! Wrestling with my foster brother is so much fun. I am hoping for a forever home with a furry friend who also loves to play, but I’m happy being your one and only too. In my foster home I live with cats and dogs of different sizes and get along well with all of them.  I really like being outside.  Rolling around in the grass makes me so happy!  A fenced in yard is a must for me. As far as exercise goes, I do need some every day, but I’m also good at chilling out when I need to.  I’m just now getting used to being on a leash.  I think I’m doing well, all things considered.  If you spend a little time showing me what to do, I’ll be a super-star!  I haven’t been around little kids much, but respectful kids over ~ eight years old are great for me.  I love everyone I meet! If you think we’d be a good fit, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 30, 2023, 3:30 pm

Story
Hi I'm Jericho! I am a galant 50lb, 9-10 year old, quintessential border collie mix! I am loyal, happy, wiggly, and so much fun. I love my toys and to play fetch and I love treats. Most of all, I love my people! I want to be around you, get and give love and kisses, or just chill out at your feet while you work. I get along with all animals that I've encountered. I love all the dogs in my foster home, big and small. Even the cranky ones who don't like my bubbly personality, I just walk away when they tell me to leave. I don't live with any cats in my foster home but Im sure I will love them too. I get along just fine with my rabbit foster brother. I may be what they call ''a senior'' but I have so much life left and love to give. I would make a great camping, hiking and adventure buddy. I love to go to places with you, but I do get a bit of car sickness. I am also housetrained. I am still getting the hang of the crate. I will go in willingly with some treats bit I like to tell you I'd rather go with you whereever youre going. Overall, I am just the most loveable dude, a perfect mix of active and playful and chill couch potato and I will give you a lot of love and laughs. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
