Story
Pixel is an 8 year old petite border collie mix, who will effortlessly melt your heart. She is a bit timid at first, but once she gets comfortable with you she is the sweetest and cuddliest dog you could ever meet. She loves to play chase after balls and frisbees. Pixel is also the queen of tug of war and could play for hours. She’s well mannered, and potty trained. She has early stage 2 kidney disease that is easily treated with prescription dog food. The vet said that many pets with this diagnoses still live long healthy lives. Pixel gets along with other dogs, but can be a little quirky when she lives with them. She’d do best as the only pet in a home with no children, or with children who are older and respectful. One of my favorite things about her is that when she is relaxed her tongue pokes out. She also has the most beautiful eyes.

Milo is a cutie that loves to play ball. My daughter rescued him from her father’s home where he lived with and got along with 2 smaller dogs. He is about 11 years old. He does not get along well with my large husky and my daughter has moved out of state. We are hoping to find him a home where he can be himself and loved.

Story
Camden is a 10 month old German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. He is a med/lrg dog, currently 45 lbs. He is in a playgroup at the shelter and loves to play with dog friends. Camden is learning about the world and would like a home that will continue to expose him to new things and people. He is very sweet and tries hard for approval and to be the `good boy`. He has a sensitive temperament, even though sometimes he wants to act tough ( teenagers ??). He loves cuddles and treats and jumps right into the car into his crate. He is very smart and really wants to learn how to be the best pup possible. He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations and has no known medical issues.Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and more.Thank you to Brush Bath and Beyond SLC for getting me cleaned up!

Story
This is Chester, our sweet fluffy little teddy bear. He is a tri colored triple herding mix (mini aussie, cattledog and border collie) that is 37lbs last weight in and 3yo. I picked him and his sister up abandoned by my work when they were approximately 8-10 weeks old. Unfortunately life has become to busy to keep him happy. So we have decided to let him find a better home able to give him the care and attention a high energy breed needs. He is good with our other dogs and keeps his distance from our cat. Good with kids. Understands basic commands and has a drive to learn more. Very treat/attention motivated. He has shots, microchipped and neutered. Long hair that needs regular brushing. Comes with kennel, food dish and dog food

Story
This is Storm, or Stormy as we call her. She is a triple herding mix (mini aussie shepherd, cattledog and border collie) that is 3yo and 27lbs at last weigh in. I found her and her brother abandoned by my work at approximately 8-10 weeks old. unfortunately life has gotten too busy to keep her happy. We are looking to find her a home that can give her the love and attention that she needs and deserves. She is a sweetheart and wannabe lap dog. she enjoys snuggling up with people and smothering them with kisses. a little shy around new people, but warms up with some time. knows basic commands and gets along with our other dogs (shes not a fan of her brother) gets a little snippy at our cat when in her kennel. outside she doesn't seem bothered with the cat but keeps an eye out for him to jump at her in his playful ways. She isn't spayed or micro chipped yet. will need shots caught up soon, we can arrange that prior to adoption if needed. Comes with kennel, food dish, food and her chews

Story
Bridle is a ball of energy so she is searching for a home that understands working dogs. Brindle is happy to run full blast next to your ATV and really needs a good run daily. She will do best in a home that has large acreage or is very active and can take her out frequently. With her energy level, we would suggest a home without children or with older dog-savvy children. The prior family reported that she is house trained. We have noticed that she will shred her dog beds if she is not given something else to do. Brindle walks on a leash and has pretty good recall off leash. She does get distracted by other things that look more fun that what you are doing, so more training will be needed. Brindle is okay with other dogs when introduced properly. She does best with male dogs that are submissive. She does not do well with female dogs. She will likely chase cats as she is a working dog, but she doesn't show a desire to harm any other animals, just wants to chase them. While she can be a handful, Brindle is also a sweet dog that wants attention once she has used up her pent up energy. If you love the working dogs and are looking for a ball of energy, Brindle is your gal. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped. If you would like to meet Brindle, contact us today.
