Adopted Molly February 2025. She's a great dog[loyal to her owners like no other] but unfortunately she needs a home without small children. [Great with older kids] We gave it a good run to see if things would improve but she does not do well with our two boys 3 & 5 whom are rambunctious & dont always respect her space especially when shes playing with her toys/bones/napping. This is the only time she can get fiesty/nippy with them & it's something we are not willing to risk. We are also expecting another baby, and this will just be another worry. Other things to note: she will need a fenced yard. Unless you live on a farm/huge lot where its ok for her to roam freely. OR if you train with shock collar or invisible fence. Shes a protector of the home/property. High energy, needs excerise daily.

Meet Oakley, is a 1 year old, small mixed breed pup with the softest fur and kindest heart. We think he may be a mix with collie or shepherd, but it's just a fun guess. Surprisingly, He seems to be a low shed dog . He is full grown at around 25 pounds, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Oakley is nervous but gentle, good with teen kids, dogs and cats. He is looking for a calm home where he can take leisurely neighborhood walks and then cuddle up next to you on the sofa for a nap. Oakley is a little unsure about new experiences, but after a couple weeks, his sweet and goofy personality will shine bright in your home. He was neglected as a young pup so he is looking for a patient family who can continue to work on his confidence and leash skills. Arriving in WI on January 9th! Bagel is a handsome on 1 year old male. He weighs about 12 pounds, and while he could stand to gain a little, we do not expect him to get much bigger. He has a beautiful coat and stunning blue eyes. Bagel loves people and plays well with other dogs. He is working hard on his potty training skills, but his forever family should be prepared to do more training while he learns the routine in his new home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 9th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $750, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $375, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 9th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If placing a deposit is not the right fit for your family, we invite you to our adoption event at our office in Muskego on Sunday January 11th, where you can meet all of our available pups, no deposit necessary. Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them.
