Story
Meet Spicy. Spicy is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is loyal and sweet. This petite girl weighs around 35 pounds and is the perfect size for both couch cuddles and everyday adventures. Spicy is a gentle soul who is blossoming more each day and learning what it means to be a loved companion. She recovered beautifully from her spay and has been making steady progress in her foster home—this resilient pup is ready for her next chapter! She may be a little shy at first and can take some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, her affectionate personality truly shines. Spicy loves to cuddle, seeks out human attention, and is happiest when she’s right by your side. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion, she will happily fill that role. Spicy is fairly low energy, making her a great fit for a quieter home. She’s doing well with potty training—she will go outside when taken out, though she still has occasional accidents as she continues to learn. Being kept on a schedule will be key to her success! She knows “sit,” is working on “stay,” and responds to her name most of the time. She’s also very treat-motivated, which makes training a great bonding opportunity. Spicy would ideally do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She can coexist around other animals, but she prefers to have her people to herself and will benefit from continued guidance and structure. (She currently lives with a dog, which she does well with, but does not do well with the cat) She enjoys chew bones and tougher toys but isn’t too interested in balls or plush toys. She tolerates brushing well, and while baths aren’t her favorite, she does best with a little extra support. Ideally (but not a dealbreaker), Spicy would love a home with a fenced yard and someone home more often than not. That said, we are willing to consider a variety of home environments with the right commitment to her routine and continued confidence-building. Spicy is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her time, consistency, and reassurance as she continues to build confidence. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, loyalty, and the sweetest cuddles. If you’re ready to give Spicy the love she deserves, she can’t wait to meet you!

A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hoping the perfect match is out there. Meet Percy Percy is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Aussie mix who was surrendered by his previous owner and is now ready for a new beginning. At around 60 pounds, this handsome, long-haired boy is as fun-loving as he is affectionate. Even though he’s technically an adult, Percy still has a playful, puppy-like spirit. He absolutely loves people of all ages and thrives on attention and interaction. He’s also great with other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with. And if there are stuffed toys involved? Even better—Percy is always up for a game of tug or toss. Percy is fully house trained and already has a solid foundation of good manners. He knows commands like “sit” and “paw” and is eager to keep learning, especially when treats are part of the deal. Smart and motivated, he’ll do great in a home that enjoys engaging with their dog and continuing his training. He’s an active guy who loves adventures, whether that’s running in the yard, playing with other dogs, or even splashing around—Percy loves the water! Because of his prey drive, he would do best in a home without chickens or other poultry. Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right from transport!! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on June 5th and arrive on June 6th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 5/10/26 Dog Name: Earl Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Mini Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 4 years Approximate Weight: 12-18 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Earl was owner surrendered as his family was moving and unable to keep him. He is friendly and loves to play with adult dogs, his foster puppies can be overwhelming but he’s still a good boy and just wants to avoid them. He will need some house training as he was outdoors mostly in his previous home however due to his size he needs to be primarily indoors for his safety and outdoors when accompanied by his new family or in a fenced yard etc. He has a beautiful coat and loves attention! Truly a regal pup!   Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. May 19, 2026, 1:35 am

Story
After a rough start to life, these Aussie mix puppies are thriving in their foster home. They were dumped in rural Mississippi and found by a caring FedEx driver as they huddled on a trash pile on the side of the road. Now they have learned to trust people and love to play and snuggle. They will be ready for forever homes after 3/6. They are located in Memphis, but can be transported to the Midwest, Colorado and the Northeast for an additional fee.
