Story
Ok, everyone, I need your help!🙌 I'm 👑Charles III👑, a 2 year old, 50 lb guy who is just about perfect in every way but one - I'm just not a fan of strangers!! But read on, & I'll tell you why you shouldn't pass me by👀I'm completely house-trained, crate-trained but trusted loose while my people are away, I'm fantastic on walks, (an old back leg injury does not slow me down) & well behaved on car rides. I only chew on my dog toys (hard toys only please!), have no issues sharing toys, food & treats with humans & doggy friends. And I LOVE my dog friends!! I'm very good at reading what those friends are like & adjusting my play style to what works best for them. I always come running when called, am 100% devoted to my family, & will do anything to please them.So - about this stranger thing. I have a hard time trusting new people at first. I bark & growl & try to scare them away! I find one person right away & bond to them quickly, then need more time to adjust to others in the home. But if you're patient & have a few days, I'll warm up to you & lavish all my love on you! And I remember every person I've let into my circle - I saw a volunteer I met weeks ago, & treated her like a long lost bestie. Besides needing patience, I also NEED a confident doggy playmate to take the lead that will show me people are okay. When I see my dog friend getting affection, my craving for love will be overcome & soon I'll be right there asking for pets! Because of my herding tendencies, dog-savvy kids over 10 are best. And I've not yet met any cats yet.My foster mom says I'm a 🪄Goldilocks🪄 kind of guy, I need a home that's *just right*. But if you think that's you, get your application in so we can start our happily ever after!!DATCP# 483538

Gunner is a 10lb, 12wk old Heeler mix. He's very sweet & loves to cuddle! Since heelers are herding dogs he'll need plenty of exercise and like all pups, ongoing training. He LOVES outdoors so housebreaking should be a snap! He's dewormed & utd on age-appropriate vaccines. According to the weight calculator, he'll be about a 50lb adult. He's being fostered with dogs of all sizes as well as cats & is doing well. He'll do great with any child who has respectful dog manners.DATCP#483538

Story
Sydney is a shy, sweet, gentle, happy female Australian Shepherd who wants to please her humans. She has the cutest circular fluffy tail wag. Shes laid back, about two years old & weighs 40lbs.She loves to cuddle her humans & be by them. Shes good with kiddos, too! She’s also comfortable just laying anywhere in the house where the sun comes in & it’s cozy by blankets &/or pillows.Sydney is good with other dogs of all sizes & is definitely a submissive pup. She loves to be outside & follow other dogs around & run with them. She’s learning how to be a pup & play with toys. She’s learning how to walk on a leash though will need a patient family to help build her confidence with praise & encouragement. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks. She takes her time to get to know new people & build trust. She sleeps in a crate at night & when no one is home. Otherwise she has free reign in her foster home when a human is there. We’re working on potty training & commands. She’s eager to please & would make an excellent addition to a family. DATCP#483538

Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 3/12/2024 Dog Name: Floyd Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 1 year old Approximate Weight: 40-45 lbs. Description: Floyd is a playful boy with a heart of gold! He plays well with all dogs and loves everyone he meets! He has the cutest fluffy ears and big smile! You will fall in love when you meet him!  Adoption Fee: $500.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 26, 2024, 8:04 pm
