Story
ARRIVING IN WI on Saturday October 7th- Bluey is an adorable 1.5 year old Aussie/Border collie mix male who weighs about 40 pounds. Bluey great with kids of all ages and dogs of all sizes He shakes, sits, lays down and walks very well on the leash. Bluey is a great easy boy to be around! He'd make an amazing jogging buddy and best friend for an active family. Bluey is crate trained and potty trained. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. Bluey's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Saturday October 7th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, between noon and 4 pm by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon pick up. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. Story
Princess Leia is a sweet girl with just a hint of sass - a great personality mix! She's around 10 months old & weighs a slim 25 lbs. Leia loves other dogs & likes people once she has a chance to warm up to them. She spent her first 8-10 weeks as a feral puppy in rural Texas, so she is still getting used to the sights, sounds, & rules of living in a home with humans. Leia is crate-trained & does very well with going potty outside. She loves to play with toys & enjoys a hearty romp as much as quietly chewing a hard toy. Leia is a mix of herding dogs breeds so her ideal family will include older kids or just adults. She has a moderate energy level & likes to chill in a dog bed with a toy after she's had a good time playing. She does require a fenced in yard, so applicants without a fence will be skipped. Leia will make a person or family very happy with her silly antics, soulful eyes, & sweet disposition. Apply for Leia today!DATCP# 483538

Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!  Updated: 9/29/2023 Litter Name: The A Litter Dog Name: Aiden Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Australian Shepherd / Mixed Approximate DOB: July 1, 2023 Approximate Weight: 15 lbs. Description: Meet Aiden, the playful heartthrob of the group! This litter boasts a gentle and intelligent bunch, each with kind and perpetually joyful personalities. These pups are destined to be incredible companions, ready to spread happiness wherever they go.   Adoption Fee: $575.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. October 4, 2023, 2:05 pm
