Meet Spicy. Spicy is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is loyal and sweet. This petite girl weighs around 35 pounds and is the perfect size for both couch cuddles and everyday adventures. Spicy is a gentle soul who is blossoming more each day and learning what it means to be a loved companion. She recovered beautifully from her spay and has been making steady progress in her foster home—this resilient pup is ready for her next chapter! She may be a little shy at first and can take some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, her affectionate personality truly shines. Spicy loves to cuddle, seeks out human attention, and is happiest when she’s right by your side. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion, she will happily fill that role. Spicy is fairly low energy, making her a great fit for a quieter home. She’s doing well with potty training—she will go outside when taken out, though she still has occasional accidents as she continues to learn. Being kept on a schedule will be key to her success! She knows “sit,” is working on “stay,” and responds to her name most of the time. She’s also very treat-motivated, which makes training a great bonding opportunity. Spicy would ideally do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. She can coexist around other animals, but she prefers to have her people to herself and will benefit from continued guidance and structure. (She currently lives with a dog, which she does well with, but does not do well with the cat) She enjoys chew bones and tougher toys but isn’t too interested in balls or plush toys. She tolerates brushing well, and while baths aren’t her favorite, she does best with a little extra support. Ideally (but not a dealbreaker), Spicy would love a home with a fenced yard and someone home more often than not. That said, we are willing to consider a variety of home environments with the right commitment to her routine and continued confidence-building. Spicy is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her time, consistency, and reassurance as she continues to build confidence. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, loyalty, and the sweetest cuddles. If you’re ready to give Spicy the love she deserves, she can’t wait to meet you!

Sydney is a tri-colored 6-7 year old female miniature Aussie. She has been spayed and weighs 28 pounds. She still needs to be vetted. Sydney is housebroken, walks good on the leash, gets along well with cats and dogs. She has not been around kids that she knows of. Sydney is not crate trained and the owner does not allow her to sleep on the bed with her. She does not have a fenced in yard but is used to being tether in order to spend free time outdoors. The reason for the surrender is that the Mom found out her daughter that has a mental illness was living in her car with Sydney and rescued the dog. She is unable to care for the dog at this time. Meet Ruby, AKA Ruby Roo! Ruby is the sweetest girl! girl! We believe she is a petite Australian Shepherd Mix. She is 9 months old, potty trained as long as she has somewhat of a schedule, and knows some basic commands. She will be a year old in July. Ruby loves other dogs, gets along with cats (still a puppy so can play rough, but she does not purposely hurt them), and although she is timid at first ( she was abused) she warms up quickly. She LOVES to cuddle! Ruby lived in a home with a little girl, so I’m sure she’d make a wonderful family pet. She is also very well behaved in the car, and was great at the vets office. Because Ruby is nervous of new things, I am requiring that you have a martingale collar when you pick her up. Would prefer a fenced in yard, but not required. Ruby will be ready to be spayed in mid June, which is included in her adoption fee if you go to an approved vet from Tiny Paws. Her adoption fee is $350.
