Peyton, female, 8mo old Aussie mix, weighs 35lbs Peyton's story is like many abandoned dogs. She was brought in as a puppy with an injured front leg. She underwent surgery and despite this hardship, she has healed and is a happy go lucky girl that is dreaming of a home for Christmas. Her beautiful markings turn heads anywhere she goes. Peyton was understandably shy when first brought in but has blossomed into a loving and affectionate dog. She won't have the capabilities of being a running partner or an agility dog, but if you are looking for a true blue family dog that will be best friends with the kids and other dogs, Peyton is perfect. She is definitely one that is worth getting an application for!    We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org Clyde Needs a Foster or Adopter by Saturday 1/10/26 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Clyde is currently at Arkansas Pet Savers and must have a foster or adopter to secure his spot on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home commitment, Clyde won’t be able to make the trip north. Meet Clyde Clyde’s story is one of heartbreak and hope. Found as a stray like so many others, this young boy ended up in a crowded Arkansas shelter where the environment has been overwhelming for him. At just about 2 years old, Clyde is struggling with shelter life—but his gentle soul shines through. Clyde is dog friendly and people friendly, and while he hasn’t been tested with cats yet, he shows no signs of aggression. In the shelter, he was too scared to leave his kennel, choosing instead to lay down and tremble. But once given some gentle love and reassurance, Clyde melted—rolling onto his back for belly rubs and soaking up every bit of affection. Those sweet, puppy-dog eyes say it all. Because he’s still in the shelter, his potty training, crate training, and leash manners are works in progress. What we do know is that Clyde is kind, sensitive, and ready to blossom once he’s out of the stressful shelter environment and into a home where he feels safe. We are sure that once he has some time to settle into a home, he will be a completely different dog than the scared boy in the shelter. Age: Estimated 2 years Gender: Male (neutered) Weight: 50 lbs Breed: Aussie mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Likely, but not tested Clyde doesn’t belong in a shelter. He deserves a calm, patient home where he can decompress, build confidence, and finally feel secure. With love and consistency, this sweet boy has so much potential to become an incredible companion. If you can foster or adopt Clyde, please apply today! www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heartworm prevention (age appropriate). NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS. AFTER ALL, THIS IS MUTT LIFE DOG RESCUE.. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. Story
Meet Pepito 🐾 Pepito is a 10-month-old, 25-lb Mini Aussie mix with a playful heart and an eagerness to learn. Rescued from a rural shelter, this sweet boy can be a little shy when he first meets new people—but don’t let that fool you. Give him a little time and reassurance, and Pepito quickly blossoms into a happy, affectionate companion. Once he feels comfortable, Pepito’s fun-loving side shines through! He absolutely loves playing with his doggie friends and would thrive in a home with another friendly pup or regular playtime. His size makes him perfect for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between. Pepito is looking for a patient, loving home that will help him continue building confidence and show him how wonderful life can be. In return, you’ll get a loyal, playful best friend who’s ready to grow up by your side. Pepito is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip and neuter.
