Story
This little dolls name is NATALIE. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her ... Super sweet Adorable Playful Intrigued with cats but doesn't hurt them Plays with all my dogs nicely but likes to bite their tails which aggravates them Loves tovs Snuggles Very loving Not a mean bone in her body Loves running around the yard Loves attention but doesn't demand it She hasn't barked when the other dogs bark, only when she's aggravating them We're working on sit and not taking my finger off with treats She likes the bed, couch, and dog beds She rides in the car in a kennel but doesn't whine or fuss alot She's pretty close to perfect in my eyes. She is approximately one and a half and just a pleasure to have around. Natalie has a great personality and can just light up the room with her spunkiness and energy. She is also a wonderful hugger and a snuggler. She’d make a wonderful walking/running companion or pal for another playful dog. Natalie is fostering in a wonderful home in Memphis, Tn with lots of other dogs and people so she is learning all kinds of socialization skills. Once adopted she will travel via private transport (transport cost is $150.00) to a location closest to you. Story
**WCHS is adopting me out from a foster home. If you are interested in meeting with me, please call the shelter to set up an appointment!**·Intake Reason: Dog's health; Can no longer afford·Weight: 44 lbs Known with: ·Cats: Lived with and done well ·Dogs: Cohabitates well; not interested in playing ·Kids: Done well with various ages ·Personality: AffectionateHi there, I'm Zinny! I was surrendered to WCHS because my family could no longer afford my medical care. I'll admit, when I first came in, I was a bit of a hot mess. My bum was naked, my ears were painful and my eye had consistent discharge. I was treated for allergies, a skin infection and an ear infection with many, many medications and ultimately also needed my left eye removed. I'm happy to announce that after a few months at the shelter and in foster care, I am finally able to make my adoption floor debut! While in foster care, I was around countless other dogs of various shapes and sizes. I cohabitate very well but am not really interested in romping around with other dogs. I would be more than happy to be your one and only dog because I absolutely crave attention. My foster mom described me as being gentle, smart and loving. In my previous home, I was respectful of the cats I lived with. I've also done well with children of various ages. If needed, I am comfortable being in a crate, but have done just fine wandering loose inside without having any accidents. For being an Aussie, I am fairly laid back but would still love daily enrichment to keep my mind sharp as a tack. Like many people, I do seem to have allergies so I'll likely need daily medication for the rest of my life. I am very food motivated, though, and take my pill like a champ! Unfortunately, WCHS has noticed that during the times I was back at the shelter for treatments I had a few 1-2 second seizures. This is a new behavior that was not previously seen while in foster. WCHS believes the stress of being in a shelter environment is a trigger so I am back in foster where I am more comfortable. If I sound like the sweetheart for you, call and ask about Zinny!#2

Story
About Me: Name: Ambassador (Abby), Brett, Buster, Shep, Jubilee, Libby, Yip, Little Miss Priss Breed (or best guess): Mini Aussie Mix Approximate Age: 9 weeks  Gender: Female and Male Approximate Weight: currently 5-7 lbs Adoption Fee: $550 Requirements: willingness to train a puppy Why In Rescue: owner surrender Profile:  This litter of pups was surrendered when a farmer let his dog breed with the neighbors and then wasn't able to sell them.  Until now they have never lived in a home, so they will need to learn all the puppy things as well as get use to being in a home.  Their breed mix is an active breed, so plan on keeping your pup busy with a job, sport, or training classes to keep his/her brain and body active.  If interested in any of the puppies we have, please fill out the pre-adoption application and we will set up a time for you to meet the pups that are still available.  We do not hold pups until you have an approved application and an appointment scheduled to meet the pups, so once you are ready to adopt, get your application in and get on the schedule to meet the pups! *** pictures include both males and females in this litter The puppies are started on their vaccines and deworming, have been microchipped, as well as spayed/neutered and a health exam.  Additional booster vaccines will be needed to keep the puppies up to date. We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation. If considering adopting a former breeding dog, the following article is good to read to help you understand the special needs these dogs may have.  http://nowisconsinpuppymills.com/mill-survivors.html If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $200 - $550 depending on the age of the dog, which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $75 (up to $230 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $75 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS December 9, 2023, 4:08 pm

—> Cooper still searching 👀🔍 for his Fur-Ever Home! Winston was adopted ❣️Hello Biggie Paws 🐾 fans!! My name is Cooper! My brother Winston and I are new to this place called Wisconsin. We came here from Texas and were living in a shelter there, but let me tell you, Wisconsin is a much nicer place! I’d much rather be a cheesehead 🧀 anyway! I’m 6 months old and am already neutered. 💉 I weigh around 30 pounds and I’m told I could be an Australian Shepherd mix. I think that’s more what my brother looks 👀 like, and I’m his biggest fan, so I’ll agree.I love to run and play, especially with my brother, so I’d probably do better with another doggie 🐶 brother (or sister) in my new home. Sometimes my brother can be a little too obnoxious for my liking! But I also feel lonely without him. I’ve also made friends with cats 🐈 and even chickens 🐓 too! I just needed a little coaching from my foster mom to play nice, but with these huge, adorable ears, I make an excellent listener! I’m even gentle with smaller kids. I’m practically a professional at this thing called house training and my foster mom cheers me on while clapping her hands 👏🏼 as I’m doing my business outside. At night I sleep 😴 quietly in my kennel, but someday I might make a good snuggle buddy and get to cuddle up in a bed or on the couch next to you! 🥰 Now that the cooler football 🏈 weather is upon us, I’ve developed a super soft, velvety coat that’s perfect for warm snuggles! I walk nicely on a leash and I know to come when I’m called 📢 but will need more help with my recall and always supervised when outside 🏡 with a fence or not. If you adopt me, I promise to be your biggest fan!! Cooper is being fostered in central WI. He is microchipped and UTD on his shots. His adoption fee is $500. Story
Hello My name is Banjo, and I am roughly six months old. My story starts being dumped with my sister, and we hid in a drainage ditch for a while. The rescue came and picked us up and life has changed forever. I love playing with other dogs. It can be chase or just wrestling or in the kiddie pool together! I do love my kiddie pool. I have a habit of carrying something in my mouth all the time. Usually, a stuffed animal or a squeaky toy. It makes me feel better and even try to talk a little with it in my mouth. It probably helps my insecurities after being dumped . I have been doing great in the house. I use a doggie door and sleep on a kuranda bed at night. The rescue did my DNA test, and I came back mostly German Shepard and Australian shepherd. The biggest thing I need is my confidence built up that I won’t be dumped again. I would prefer always having company ,human or dog. I am a big baby and trying to restore my faith in humans. I am neutered , micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations. My adoption fee covers a health certificate from the vet and transport from Tennessee.
