Greta Greta is a 4 month old Aussie mix with a whole lot of personality packed into one fluffy little body. Born in Feb - Expected to be around 45 pounds full grown, this spunky girl is already keeping everyone entertained with her goofy gremlin noises, endless puppy antics, and larger-than-life attitude. Greta came to us with a history of rickets, but she has been doing AMAZING her hair is growing back beautifully and its looking like shes going to have a gorgeous fluffy coat! Like any true puppy, Greta is currently convinced the world is made for chewing, so toys, bones, and supervision are a must. But once she powers down from play mode, she turns into an affectionate cuddle bug who gives the absolute best snuggles. Shes confident and fearless and we think she will grow into a companion who will take the world in stride - make you laugh and also fill your heart! Shes doing well with crate training after a little initial protesting, and her love of food makes her highly motivated to learn. She already knows sit pretty well in calm environments and is working hard on listening through distractions outside. Her leash skills are improving every day, and while potty training is going well, she is still a baby and will need patience and consistency as she continues learning. Greta is looking for a home ready for all the fun, chaos, laughter, and love that comes along with raising a smart loyal puppy. Shes has so much potential to become an incredible lifelong companion. Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue.
