Story
TREE BUD (Male) DOB: 1/31/26 Attributes Dog friendly Playful Snuggly Working on housetraining Crate trained Not best for apartments High energy Looking for a new best friend, then Tree Bud is the pup for you. Bud is the most adventurous of the trio with a warm heart and a strong personality. He is very smart having learned "sit", "off" and "no". He is a cuddle bug and loves being with people and other dogs. Bud loves to play, and be outside but he also likes being close to his people. He definitely has the beagle trait for food and is very food driven, but this makes his training easier as he will do anything for a treat. Bud is 90% house-broken, he knows to go outside but sometimes his excitement will lead to an accident, very impressive for a puppy. A funny thing about him is when he is hyper you can pick him up and he melts into calmness. Bud is 100% crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). ---------------------------- Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.

JUNO 2 years Attributes Dog friendly Needs another dog Not good w/cats Housetrained Crate trained Potties on leash Needs a fence Fence jumper Likes car rides Playful High energy Juno is a petite, 17-pound beagle with a massive zest for life! Don't let her small size fool you; she is a busy, athletic girl who needs plenty of action and attention. She is currently in constant play mode with her foster beagle siblings and would absolutely thrive in a home with another dog to wrestle and run with. If you are interested in dog sports like agility, frisbee, or flyball, Juno will be your perfect partner. This smart girl pays close attention, reacts well to gestures, and is eager to learn. However, her classic beagle prey drive means if she spots a bunny or a squirrel outside, she's ready to launch! Juno is quite the acrobat—she can easily clear a 2-foot fence and will scale 3- or 4-foot fences if there is something for paw holds. She will need a securely fenced yard (preferably tall, solid privacy fencing) and a watchful eye when she is out exploring. Juno is incredibly outgoing and friendly to everyone she meets. Rather than jumping up when approached, she politely bows down for pets. While she is a champion player with other dogs, her high activity level means she is likely too rambunctious for cats or toddlers. She has already mastered potty and crate training, but she is still a young soul who will need your help learning basic house manners and how to walk nicely on a leash. Scent-driven, food-motivated, a beautiful singer, and incredibly sweet, Juno is all beagle! After a long day of running and playing, she loves nothing more than to settle down and cuddle. If you have an active lifestyle, love outdoor adventures, and have experience with the wonderful quirks of hounds, Juno might just be your perfect match. ROSCO 5 years Attributes Snuggly Potties on leash Crate trained Working on housetraining Requires a fence Dog friendly Rosco is small but mighty! A sweet, affectionate little guy who loves nothing more than curling up for snuggles and staying close to his favorite person, he finds comfort in companionship and will thrive in a calm, patient home. Like most beagles, Rosco enjoys going for walks where he can exercise his sniffing superpowers to the fullest! Unlike many beagles, he’s not particularly vocal and doesn’t bark very much. He’s familiar with using a dog door and is well on his way with house training, especially when kept on a consistent routine. He’s comfortable in his crate as long as he’s in the same room as his humans. A secure, fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus for him to explore and relax in. Rosco gets along with the other dogs in his foster home. His foster family feels that he would do well with other dogs as long as they are confident and respect his space. He’s fed in a separate area to prevent any disagreements with his canine siblings. Rosco is looking for a committed family who can offer structure, reassurance, and plenty of love. In return, he’ll be a devoted companion who sticks by your side and fills your home with warmth and love. NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Story
GOLDIE 2 – 3 years Attributes: Crate trained Housetrained Playful Single dog home Requires a fence Fence jumper Adult home only preferred Will potty on leash Good in car Medium energy Snuggly Meet Goldie! 🐾 Goldie is a 2–3-year-old, 35-pound Beagle mix (with a little Boxer flair!) who’s full of personality, affection, and charm. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves being close to her people, Goldie might just be your perfect match. This sweet girl is incredibly people-friendly and thrives on attention. She’s happiest when she’s curled up beside you, soaking in chin and belly scratches—or better yet, snuggled up in bed for a cozy night’s sleep. Goldie truly loves her humans and forms strong bonds. Goldie has a medium energy level and knows some basic commands like “come,” “sit,” and “leave it.” She’s both house-trained and crate-trained, and will even go into her crate on her own to relax. Like many dogs, she may whine or bark a bit when first left alone, but she settles in with time. Goldie does have a playful, mischievous side—she can’t resist the occasional slipper or cushion if left unsupervised! She’s also working on her manners, like keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting people. Because of her enthusiasm and strength, Goldie would do best in a home without small children or unsteady adults. She can be a bit rough with other dogs and would benefit from either being the only pet or having a very carefully matched canine companion. Goldie is also a bit of an escape artist—she’s been known to test fences, dig, and even dash out an open door—so she’ll need a vigilant home committed to keeping her safe and secure. The good news? Goldie is healthy, up to date on care, and ready to find her forever family. Goldie’s ideal home: Adults or older, dog-savvy teens Secure yard and attentive supervision Someone patient and willing to continue her training A home ready for lots of cuddles and companionship If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly, and spirited companion, Goldie is ready to fill your home with joy (and maybe a little bit of mischief, too!). NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
