Story
Meet Paisley, a gentle beagle girl whose heart is finally ready to bloom. Paisley was found wandering as a stray in Mississippi, scared, skin raw with mange, skinny and hungry. When she was finally caught and brought to the shelter over a year ago, she was timid and unsure of the world. But with time, kindness, and steady care, Paisley is slowly rediscovering what it means to feel safe.Today, Paisley loves to go outside, stretch her legs, and run free—her beagle nose in the air, ears bouncing, soaking up every bit of sunshine. She is well-mannered, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys exploring at her own pace.Meeting new people can still make her a bit shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes affectionate and loyal. She has done well with children she’s met, gently accepting their attention and company. Paisley isn’t just looking for a place to sleep—she’s searching for someone patient enough to let her continue to blossom, someone who sees not just who she is today but who she is becoming. Watching this girl learn to love and trust again is a truly rewarding experience. Her ideal home will be one that listens to her comfort level and respects her space. If you’re ready to be the chapter in Paisley’s story where everything finally gets better, she’s waiting—soft eyes, steady heart, and so much hope. Here she is with one of her shelter mates, Kirby:https://youtube.com/shorts/tRc498aeI-A?feature=shareName: PaisleyBreed: Beagle/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 42.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testing. Story
Beagle lovers..Meet Harlow! Her story didn’t begin the way any dog deserves. Abandoned by her owner with an older beagle, she was left behind simply because she was no longer wanted. Thankfully, a compassionate local rescuer in Memphis stepped in, bringing Harlow to safety and giving her the second chance she so clearly deserves. Now thriving in foster care, Harlow is showing everyone just how special she truly is.In his foster home, Harlow has proven to be an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. She has a playful spirit and absolutely loves the company of other dogs, making her an ideal companion for a home with a canine friend. Her friendly, easygoing nature shines through—she is not aggressive in the slightest and is expected to do well with children who understand how to respectfully interact with a dog.Harlow is already crate trained and making progress with housetraining. She walks reasonably well on a leash, though she would benefit from using a harness, as she can get a bit enthusiastic and pull when something catches her interest. True to her beagle roots, Harlow is guided by her nose—if she ever got loose, she would likely follow a scent on a grand adventure, so a secure yard or attentive handler will be important. While she enjoys playtime and romping around with her dog friends, Harlow also has a calm side. She’s just as happy to settle down for a cozy nap, making her a wonderful balance of fun and relaxation. This girl is a loving, loyal dog who would thrive in a home where she has a canine companion and a family who will never give up on her. After being cast aside, she’s ready to leave her past behind and finally experience the safety, comfort, and love of a forever home.Name: HarlowBreed: Beagle   Sex: FemaleAge: 4 years  (estimated)Weight: 23.0Spayed/Neutered: To be scheduledVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testing. Story
Meet Randall — and just look at that face… and those ears! This adorable Beagle mix puppy already knows how to make an impression. Randall came to us from Memphis, TN, after he confidently walked right up to a woman on the street who happened to have rescue connections — smart move, Randall! We believe Randall is about 12–14 weeks old (as of 2/23), and he’s currently settling into one of our wonderful foster homes. He’ll be heading to the vet soon for age confirmation, vaccines, and a full checkup. Once he has his vaccines on board, he’ll be ready to travel to his forever home. For now, Randall is exactly what you’d expect from a young puppy — curious, playful, and full of love. He enjoys playing with the other dogs in his foster home and is already winning hearts with his sweet, affectionate personality and endless puppy kisses. We’ll share more updates as we get to know him better, but one thing is already clear: Randall is a special little guy. If you’ve been thinking about adding a puppy to your family, you may not want to wait on this one! 🐾Name: Randall(Breed: Beagle/Crossbreed (no DNA tests done, this is based purely on sight and experience)Sex: MaleAge: 16 weeks (3/27)Weight: 14lbs (as of 2/27)Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Story
Tag is a sweet, friendly, cautious beagle. She LOVES other dogs, taking comfort and confidence from them whether it be playing at the dog park, saying hi on walks or snuggling with her two foster sisters. She enjoys her daily walks, is housetrained and rides well in a car. Tag feels most at ease with women and dogs showing her fun, playful, affectionate sides. When men are nearby she is much more reserved and cautious. That doesn’t stop her from sleeping in bed with her foster parents though. This sweet girl will need extra time to get adjusted to a new home, but once she does, she will thrive. Tag is being fostered in the Boston area and is available for visits.

Bonnie has come a long way from living in an outdoor kennel. She is starting to enjoy the comforts of living in a home and learning how to be loved although is still timid and shy. Bonnie needs plenty of time to get comfortable in her new environment and with new people. Once comfortable, she seeks out affection and snuggles freely. She does best with women, slow movements and people who crouch down to meet her. She loves chilling on the sofa and sleeping in bed with her people. She is good with other dogs, has medium energy and is doing wonderful with house training. Bonnie is about 5 years old and 36 lbs. Adopters who are willing to give her the time and space to get comfortable at her own pace will be rewarded with a loving, affectionate member of the family. Story
Tyson is an adorable, energetic bluetick beagle mix from the South with a heart as big as his ears. This happy, affectionate boy is the definition of joyful chaos—in the best way. He loves his people, loves his toys, and loves turning everyday moments into playtime. Tyson is wonderfully self‑entertaining as long as he has a good supply of toys and bones. One of his signature moves is emptying the toy box and proudly relocating his treasures to the yard. Out there, he’ll happily amuse himself with his growing outdoor collection, trotting around like the mayor of his own little toy town. Inside, he’s a sweet cuddle bug who plays hard and naps even harder. He’s quiet most of the time, but when he’s excited or catches a scent, his beagle voice makes a cheerful appearance. He also has a favorite perch—the back of the sofa—where he surveys his kingdom with a perfect “beagle‑eye view.” Tyson is young, enthusiastic, and still learning how to manage all that excitement, but he’s making great progress. He’s currently living with cats without any issues, showing he can be a respectful roommate. His ideal home is with an active family who can match his zest for life and give him plenty of enrichment, exercise, and opportunities to explore. Tyson is being fostered south of Boston and is ready to bring his playful spirit and big-hearted love to a family of his own.
