Story
Frannie is getting ready to be a beloved member of your growing family! Frannie is a darling little beagle with the sweetest personality and an easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. At 3 years old and around 20 pounds, she is the perfect compact size for cuddling on the couch, joining in on family adventures, or curling up beside her people at the end of the day.Frannie is thriving in a loving foster home where her gentle and affectionate personality continues to shine. She is calm and well-mannered with people and especially loves snuggling up at night for some extra cuddle time. Frannie plays with a number of the dogs who live in her foster home, and most are larger than she is but she plays with the best of them. Being a hound, naturally she loves to get a little muddy if the opportunity presents itself and if water is available.Frannie has been around children and has done very well with them, showing a patient and friendly temperament. She behaves nicely in her crate, rides calmly in the car in a wire crate, and is doing very well with her potty training.Unfortunately after being a stray, Frannie tested positive for heartworm and is presently receiving treatment at her southern foster home. She will be ready to travel to her new home by the middle of September! Her ideal forever home would include another playful dog and possibly children to love on her, as she truly seems happiest when surrounded by companionship and activity.Frannie is the kind of sweet, easy little dog who settles into family life beautifully and will make a loyal, loving addition to a lucky home.Name: FrannieBreed: Beagle (Breed mix is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: FemaleAge: 3 years (estimated)Weight: 20.0Spayed/Neutered: Vaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive; treatment completed before adoptionMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Unknown, can be tested.Adoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable) $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently: Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
