Cricket is an estimated 2 year old, beagle mix -weighing 19 lbs! She came from horrible conditions .... she was surrounded by bones, deceased dogs and no food. She was saved by Wolfe County Shelter in KY and never will experience that again! She does have a cherry eye that will be repaired when spayed. She is potty trained and has been doing wonderfully since being saved ##2635018##

Molly is a 2-year-old female Beagle mix with a sweet personality and a love for meeting new people. She came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family was no longer able to care for her. Despite the change, Molly has remained a very friendly and affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with everyone she meets. One of Molly’s favorite things to do is go for walks and explore the outdoors. She gets very excited when it’s time to head outside! Because of her enthusiasm, she is still working on her leash manners, but our staff have been working with her daily and she is making progress. Molly seems to do well with other dogs, but we still require a meet and greet with any dogs in the home to ensure everyone gets along and it’s the right match. The good news is that Molly also does well with cats, which could make her a great addition to a multi-pet household. If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly companion who loves people and enjoys getting out for walks, Molly may be the perfect fit for your family

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ORVILLE, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Orville was rescued by a good Samaritan in Arkansas, when he was founded at an abandoned home. He was underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and very weak. Once we got him to our vet we found that he was anemic, the fleas had sucked all of his blood. He is also heartworm positive, and he’s started the beginning of heartworm treatment. He’s feeling so much better and is on the path to good health! Orville is feeling better now, and his personality has started to show. He shows signs of being abused. He is not going to be a good first dog for someone, and he will need someone who’s dog savvy, and will give him space to settle in his environment.

Melly has been a special addition to our family for about 6 years. Due to unforeseen family health circumstances, we’re heartbroken to have to rehome him. Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. He’s an old soul who thrives on close companionship. Melly is wonderful with children, but would likely prefer a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life. He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, as he cannot be left alone due to his separation anxiety. Another dog in the home would likely keep him calm and give companionship for the potential of leaving him. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and care. Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog.
