Story
How cute is Miss "TULIP", she is a 1 year old beagle mix, weighing 16 pounds. Tulip is the sweetest little girl, she is shy at first and takes some time and patience to gain her trust, but once you do, you'll find a fun and loving pup that loves to run around, and be silly. Tulip would prefer her new adopters be home with her as much as possible, or take her with them, as she has some separation anxiety. Tulip will need to meet any other dogs in the family and no children under 15.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fill out an Adoption Application   REBA IS LOCATED IN MT. VERNON, OH.Reba, aka Tinsel, is an adorable, small, mixed breed, tri-colored, high energy, loving, smart, and very personable, work in progress looking for a place to call home.  She is a bundle of energy who loves to play but also loves to cuddle and snooze on her people during nap time.At a young 7 months old she already knows 'sit' and 'wait' while getting food. The verbal command to release her to eat is ‘okay’. She's currently working on 'down', and 'heal'’ when on walks.  This girl is eager to find her forever home to continue to learn and show them how smart she is!Likes: She likes Kong toys filled with treats, chew toys, playing with tug toys and she loves using puzzle bowls for meal time.Dislikes: Unknown loud noises and unfamiliar dogs that she has notbeen able to meet. Her reaction is to run back inside and will not want to go back outside for a few minutes or until the noise/dog is gone.Personality: Outgoing and friendly!Temperament: Reba can be laid back and will relax when an individual is sitting and relaxing, but also is wanting to play a lot. She loves to be right with the family, but still needs some work for her to understand that not everything around her or in an individuals hand is a toy.Energy level: HighFavorite activities: Running, playing ball, playing with other dogs that she knows, laying beside/in lap of individual when relaxing.Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Loves to play with other dogs, curious about cats (has not had too many interactions), would be good with kids based of of personality. Not good with: Rugs, blanket, towels – Will chew and tear apart if not occupied with toys. She will dig and eat mulch from flower beds and flower pots if not closely watched. (She is a puppy!)Housetrained: This is a work in progress. She is still working on giving a signal on when she needs to go out. If she gives us the signal and we do not catch it right away she will have an accident in the house but they are becoming less and less. This will especially happen soon after playing or eating her meals. Normally she will vocalize that she needs to go outside by whining and pacing by door. Crate trained: Yes, Reba does great overnight when crated and when left at home during the day/when individual leaves. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? A fenced in yard would be best to allow her to run and play freely. She may not work well with an invisible fence due to the nature of how she reacts when things scare her.Walks well on a leash? Yes, she loves to walk and is learning how to heal beside the individual who is walking. She's using a harness but is working on learning to use a training collar. Understands the word 'heal' but will get excited and wants to wander/pull ahead of the person walking her.Challenges: Reba panics when disciplined, but is getting better with understanding what is going on when getting disciplined and why. She is learning and doing well with the verbal command ‘no’ and that it means the behavior that was happening was not appreciated.Any Medical issues? No. Tinsel/Reba was surrendered to her veterinarian, and transferred to MTM foster care in December 2022 because she had severe skin and ear inflamation. After weeks of following recommended treatments including weekly medicated baths, her skin and ears are healthy and clear! What would be the best kind of home? Tinsel/Reba would love to find a family that is active and enjoys being outside, walking, hiking, and playing in the yard daily or almost daily. Puppy Adoption Policy: To ensure proper house training and socialization, puppies will only be adopted to homes where an adult will not be away more than an hour per day, per month of age of the puppy, up to 6 months. Story
So, Gambit is my name, and like my Marvel/ X-Man character- I have a way to create my own destiny- all is within my own power!!! I have had kind of a sad past but my future's so bright! I was saved from a pretty scary place- living alone in a field, next to the gas station where nice people fed me and tried to save me.... Luckily, one of those nice people was persistent AND resourceful and she played her "pawn" to get me into a trap and got me out of that horrible place! I have been living with her and her doggy (and human) family since, but I am really ready for my own family! Look at my video, I am sure cute (only 28#) and super adoptable! There are a few things you need to know about me, I am a happy go lucky boy- as long as you don't get into my face or try to give me kisses. I am protective of my face so an adult only or very knowledgeable older kids in my home is best. I am also kind of a goofball and I love other dogs. I take time to get to know you and get comfortable in my home, so please do not apply to adopt me unless you understand that I will not be your bestest friend immediately- I am most definitely worth the wait :) I have all kinds of love and loyalty to give you, so I hope to meet you soon!!! I am house and crate trained too- see? young dogs CAN learn new tricks :) Local adoption fee is $200 ( in Texas only)

Story
Breed mix? BEAGLE MIX Age? 1 year 6 months Weight? 35 lbs Sex? MALE Good with cats? YES Good with dogs? YES Good with kids? NO SMALL KIDS - he gets very scared of toddlers but is fine with older kids (preteens and older). Potty trained? YES Crate trained? YES Temperament? Calm/happy Ghost is a strong pup, he is a superhero to me, like Superman! Or more like Superdog! He has overcome so many obstacles and might be cautious at first but warms up to be such a love bug. As a puppy, unfortunately, he was terrorized by a group of young kids that spray painted him blue, threw rocks at him, broke his tail, tried to break his neck and threw him around daily. He was saved by a family that found him injured, and he has healed from the physical wounds but has a thickened neck and suffers from Masticatory Muscle Myositis (MMM) as a result of that trauma. He went through treatment with the rescue and he is now stable, he needs special attention as his jaw might tighten and limit his ability to open his mouth to pick up a toy or chew. He does not have any issues eating but can't chew large treats. He is learning sit and is working on "off" only because he gets so excited to see people that he jumps up to say 'Hi' :) which is REALLY AMAZING because of what happened to him as a baby... He has forgiven and forgotten and now he is ready for a real loving family to give him the life he totally DESERVES. He smiles when you ask him to show his teeth! He has such a unique personality and he has so many names that describe him. So far he has been called Taco Bell, Turkey Taco, Bongo (drums), Twinkie, and Chicken. He loves to roll around on his back and lay down flat in his stomach. His playmates in his foster home are two 80 lbs pups and he holds his own, will back them up in the yard against the squirrels one minute and falls asleep the next minute. His theme song is definitely Puppy Dog Bouncin' In The Box by RxckStxr so if you are looking for a Superdog or a TOTAL ROCK STAR, Ghost is your BOY!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Bark, bark, bark! Look over here! Hi, glad that I got your attention! I'm Layla! I am a spunky and energetic Beagle baby! I am great with children and other dogs, but be careful I do have a habit of chasing cat's tails. I would do great with a family that likes to play, especially if you have another dog my age! Like a Beagle I lead with my nose and let my ears flop all about! I am a very intellectual dog and need lots of stimulation to keep me from going loco! I am fully potty and crate trained, and I am the epitome of good manners. Adopt me! Some basic information about Layla; she is 10-months old, female, Beagle mix, and is small-sized (1-19lbs). Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
