Story
Odette is a cheerful and spirited Belgian Malinois who loves the outdoors and can keep up with an active lifestyle. She is gentle and affectionate, often giving sweet kisses to her fosters and handling her treats and toys with care. Playful and social, Odette enjoys the company of other dogs when properly introduced. Odette thrives when she has a job to do and appreciates a home where her humans can delegate tasks to her. She loves to stay productive but also cherishes essential snuggle time. She is well-behaved in the house, enjoys cuddling on the couch, and sleeps on the bed near the pillow. However, Odette is not suited for first-time dog owners, homes with small children, small pets, or cats due to her high prey drive. A fence might slow her down, but it won't stop her from chasing critters. Belgian Malinois are historically herding animals and can make excellent guard dogs. Odette would thrive in a home with ample space to roam and attentive humans who can provide her with the mental and physical stimulation she needs. Additionally, Odette loves camping, making her an ideal companion for outdoor adventures. She is ready to begin her forever adventure. To schedule a meet and greet, fill out the online application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RTUG/Dog. A volunteer will respond in a few days.

Story
Male Belgian Malinois, 1 year 2 months old. Neutered. He is intelligent and a quick learner. Ray can seem shy and timid. He doesn't trust new people, but once he figures out they're not dangerous to him, he's a really sweet guy. He is house-trained, sleeps well all night (we don't use a crate but he knows what it is). I would say Ray is a moderate energy level, good with small and large dogs. He is quick to make friends and play very gently on the playground. He knows "sit", "down", "come", "fetch" but needs a lot of additional work and training. Ray doesn't guard toys or food. I can say that he is a sensitive young adult who responds well to positive reinforcement training, especially when treats are involved. While he may show submissive tendencies, his potential shines with a little guidance and encouragement. It should be patient people, experienced dog owners who has a large breeds in the past. No cats, no children. Experienced dog owners who has a large breeds in the past.

Story
Hi! I'm Lucky. I’m a friendly youngster with plenty of potential.  And let me tell you, I'm all about that food life! I'm super treat motivated. I'm also a people watcher, especially in busy areas, but you won't catch me barking at passersby. I've been hanging out with my finder for a few months now, and we've really bonded. But I’m looking for my very own permanent people. In my foster home, I've got some furry friends—a senior shepherd and two corgis. The shepherd's cool with me, but those corgis think they're royalty! I've also met my finder's daughter, and I'll admit, I can get a little too excited and jump up on people. But hey, I'm just overflowing with energy! I'm crate trained, so I sleep soundly through the night. As for toys, well, let's just say I have a talent for destruction. But that's just me being a typical puppy! Car rides are the best—I love peeking out the back window and feeling the wind in my fur. I'm super friendly with other dogs, maybe a little too forward sometimes. But don't worry, there's no aggression here, just lots of kisses and wiggles. I do have a habit of jumping up, though, so I might accidentally knock over small kids or elderly folks. With some training, I'm sure I can learn to control my excitement better. I'm a big, playful puppy who just needs someone with the energy to keep up with me. With a little manners training and leash practice, I'll be the perfect family dog. So if you're up for some fun and lots of potential, I'm your gal! This is a courtesy post and I will be waiting in San Lorenzo. Hope to meet you! You like this dog...now what? Story
Hi there!  My name is Bella and I'm a 9-year old, spayed German Shepherd that currently weighs about 65lbs.  I'm a sweetheart that's looking for a forever home! Don't let my 'old age' fool you, I'm still a spunky girl who loves to run! I am great at doing zoomies and I will slide in for belly rubs! I'm a smart cookie that enjoys working on my training, especially if you have some nice treats to offer. I love to hang out and chew on my toys once I've gotten some energy out by playing fetch. I prefer human attention over dog friends but I've been able to coexist with neutral/mellow dogs. I may be a senior but I'm still a spry active lady and would do best in a home with doggy savvy kids. For more information, just ask Customer Service about Bella!  ID# A924534Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Story
FOSTER CARE! Hello, my name is Kurlys!  I'm a 1 and a half year old, neutered male, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute mix that currently weighs about 80lbs.  I'm still a growing boy so I'll do best with a family that is prepared for a very large dog. I'm a curious boy that loves human attention and can't wait to make new friends.  If you have a resident dog, please make sure we have a chance to say hello before adding me to your family. I still have a lot to learn so I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to continue my training and give me lots of exercise! I'm a good boy who already know sit, down and shake (both front paws). I get a little bit stressed when I'm left alone so I would do best with a family that understands I need a little extra attention. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Kurlys! ID# A940881 My foster family thinks that I am the bees knees! Here's what they had to say: 'Kurlys is doing great! He's a bit scared of busy areas but he does great on walks around quiet neighborhoods. When he plays with other dogs, he's pretty gentle. He is learning to be alone at home and doing fine for up to an hour.' Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person.
