Meet Bree. She is a gentle giant around here. Good natured, calm and playful she is easy to hang out with inside the house and out. She has followed my escape artist out through a hole in the fence and all I had to do was call her and she came to the gate and trotted back in. So great recall and not really wanting to go and explore the world. She plays with the other dogs and checks in with me when I'm in or around the house. She has started to hang out at the barn while i'm feeding the horses. She is a little shyer than her sister Tig, but she is coming out of her shell as she grows up. Bree knows how to use a doggie door, is potty trained, she is up to date on her shots and spayed. She kennels up by herself for meals and sometimes sleeps in her lennel at night. It would take time and patience to get her used to being on a leash. Augustus was found as stray by a good Samaritan. He is 3-4 yrs old and weighs 65lbs. 22 month old fully off leash, crate, e-collar, house and potty trained. Low-medium drive. High ball and high food drive. He is protective, loves swimming, fetch and is the perfect hiking buddy, he really loves hiking. Good with cats and chickens, not so good with other male dogs, except small breeds, but very good with other female dogs. He’s protective of the property and needs a fully fenced yard. We had him during the day outside in the backyard and inside during the night and cold days all day inside. He has great manners and doesn’t destroy things. He does not like being pet from strangers only from his family, loves attention. He’s not vaccinated except of the puppy shot and is in great shape and exceptional health. He’s on a raw meat diet which we purchase from local farmers, but is also used to occasional kitchen left overs and high quality kibbles. Rehoming due to moving out of state. KAYCE NEEDS A RUNNING PARTNER Kayce needs a forever home. In the last few months he has lived in a boarding facility while waiting for his forever person to find him. Before that, for almost 2yrs he has been moved around in boarding, rescue and foster homes. He’s a wonderful, loyal, smart as can be boy looking for someone that can make a commitment to him. Beautiful big boy Kayce is about 4.5yrs old and he weighs approximately 80lbs. He is a very tall boy, and he’s very athletic so a running partner would be perfect! Lots of hiking, long walks and jogging will be ideal, too. Kayce is mixed with something that gives him a curly tail. We don’t know the mix, but we do know he loves people so a large breed, shepherd experienced, social home would be best. He gets excited when he meets new people and can be very exuberant in his wiggles so no small children, please. Kayce is very selective of his female playmates and he does not like male dogs so he should be the only animal in the home. No kitties for Kayce. He is house and crate trained so he can stay home alone for a reasonable amount of time. He’s also a quiet boy that likes to relax with his person after a fun day of exercise. He can be an independent guy so he will explore and self entertain when he’s outside in a 6ft securely fenced yard. He’ll let you know when he wants to come back in by standing at the back door so he can come in to get a treat and then relax for awhile. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. Robin is happy girl who loves to play but likes her down time as well. She can be very timid when she first meets people but craves attention. Her age is estimated to be 3 years old and she weighs approximately 45-50lbs. In April, Robin was found dumped in a remote park, along with another German Shepherd mix, Batman. She has been in a foster home since then that has helped to build her confidence and trust in people. Robin would love to have another dog to play with, and her ideal family member would be Batman, who is also available for adoption. While they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Robin loves to play ball and will go as long as you’re willing to throw it. She loves other toys as well and will entertain herself. Her home must have a very secure, fenced yard as she is a run risk. She can never be taken off leash outside of a contained yard and we strongly recommend that she wear her harness and be double clipped to her harness and collar on walks. Robin has a strong prey drive and will take care of any moles in your yard but has done well with cats indoors. We aren't sure if a cat was outdoors and ran if her prey drive would kick in, so we suggest a home with no cats or indoor only cats. We also recommend a slow introduction with the cats having a place they can escape to while they adjust to life together. Kids in the home must be dog savvy, and aware enough to know that they can’t forget to close the door.
