Story

Batman is a gorgeous, happy boy who is energetic and looking for a home with a strong leader who is active and will keep him busy and engaged. His age is estimated to be 2-3 years old and he’s approximately 80-90lbs. In April, Batman was found dumped in a remote park in Snoqualmie, along with another German Shepherd mix, Robin. Batman wasn’t neutered when he was first found and had some attitude, wanting to do things on his own terms. He has since been neutered and more importantly, he’s spent quite a bit of time at board and train. He is now a total love bug but will need an owner with power breed experience that can lead him instead of letting him lead them. Batman loves the ladies, and would do well living with a female dog that he could play with. Robin, who he adores, is also available for adoption and while they can be adopted separately, they’d be happy to be back together. Batman is mostly indifferent with male dogs as long as they are not intact. He may be able to live with a male dog, but he’ll need to be tested with any dogs already in the family. With a lot of energy to burn, he’d love to be a running buddy or hiking buddy, NEVER off leash, or have a huge, fenced yard where he can play fetch with his favorite toys. He does know how to settle down and just chill too but understand, he will need his exercise or he will likely get up to no good. Batman is currently in a home with younger children and has been great with them, but they are also very dog savvy, so we recommend older children but are happy to discuss on a case by case basis. We have not yet evaluated Batman with cats other than at a distance, but he hasn’t shown any interest so far.

In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. HI - I'M FREYA! I'm a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, I was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. I can be shy/timid when you first meet me. But I love playing with other dogs, and I also tested great with cats! (We have videos!) I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for long walks, hikes and other outings. I weigh 55-60 lbs. Jenner is attentive and smart girl. Listens to commands such as sit, stay, easy when walking beside you, come, and go. She does not like to be shout out. She will shy away. She has zero aggression. She's very loving loves to cuddle and loves to have her face massaged. She enjoys to be around her owner at all times. When she is not around her owner, it is smart to leave her in the kennel. She's not destructive not once has she ever gotten into any household item whatsoever. She is zero interested in anything other than her human contact. She is six years old very gentle demeanor. When in the house she is quiet likes to lay on the floor or on her cot. She loves to play fetch when outdoors she will grab the ball or the steak and bring it right back to you to continue running and playing. She's very mindful of her owners. She walks well on a leash can still use a little training with that. A fenced in yard would be phenomenal for her. She is cooperative with showers and grooming.
