Story
Hi everybody! I'm Irvin! I may look like a border collie, but as I grow, I’m starting to look and act more like a Labrador puppy! I’m full of energy, and I love to play a lot! But then when I’m finished, I flop down and have a good nap. I love going for walks on my leash and am interested in everything that I see and smell! My fosters say that I’m very attentive and very smart! I’m working on potty training and do pretty well with that (with an occasional mess up). I’m very good at “sit”, “lie down” and “touch”, and I’m working on “leave it” and “come”. I’m still learning what is ok to chew on, but I’m ok when things are taken away from me. I love my crate and sleep all night in it. I love kids and other dogs, but I would also be great living with an active adult and look forward to finding my forever home!  ##2059819##

Story
Lil baby Sera is one if not the sweetest dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She loves other dogs but loves her human companion the most. She is OBSESSED with cuddling, and if she had the option she would nestle beside you forever. Her next favorites are exploring, playing, and the periodic puppy zoomies. We are currently learning on how not to be so afraid of the leash, getting better at potty training, and basic commands. She’s sometimes skiddish at first, but once she warms up she’ll love you to death. She would make a wonderful companion and I hope she finds someone who has as big of a heart as she has. ##2078478##

Story
I'm looking to rehome Solus to someone with more time/energy/space so he can enjoy himself as my life has changed where I can no longer provide for him. Looking for an experienced owner as he does need some training and work. He does have some anxiety and get aggressive/scared while meeting new people but once he warms up he'll always want to play. He needs to be the only animal in the house, preferably with a nice yard to run around and play in. On walks he does like to explore but you can pull him along, we've been working on walking "with me." He doesn't like people on bicycles so can't take him on walking paths or trails. He is house trained, and you can lock in him his kennel for a short while. When left alone at home he has never destroyed anything and just lays around waiting for you to return. I have Embrace pet insurance for him that can be transferred for behavioral training/meds. He knows sit, stay, lay down, and roll over. Ask anything you want to know.

Story
Buttercup is a 1.5-2 year old Border Collie mix weighing about 35lbs.   Buttercup was dumped at a shelter in New Mexico with 2 day old puppies.  Some crummy human actually dumped a terrified, exhausted, brand new Momma at the shelter to die alone trying to protect her puppies.  When the shelter moved her into a cage with her puppies she tried to protect them (obviously) so the shelter immediately deemed her unadoptable, but was going to adopt out her puppies at less than a week old.  Keep in mind, these shelters in this area are dealing with almost zero government funding and hundreds of dogs being dumped on them, so this is not their fault.   We couldn't let Buttercup die this way and we didn't want her to be separated from her puppies that she loved so much.  We scrambled to get a transport together to get them all here to CO where they would be safe.  Once the puppies were old enough Buttercup went to our board and train program since we had to do our do dilligence since the shelter had deemed her "aggressive".  The day she went to our trainer, our trainer called us within the hours and said Buttercup was the sweetest happiest girl and she did not need board and train, and could be put up for adoption.  We decided to go through with the training program since she was already there and we knew it would set her up for success no matter what.  We do strongly believe in training and will require her adopters take our partner training classes just so they can learn more about dogs and learn about everything Buttercup has learned while she has been here.  Buttercup is a wonderful pup.  She has an amazing zest for life and is just always so happy and social.  She gets along great with all other dogs and people.  She has a good amount of energy just like most Border Collies but she also loves affection and loves to snuggle.  She is everybody's favorite who meets her.  She would be a perfect dog for daily runs/hikes, a doggy playmate, an someone who wants a dog to love and snuggle! Lady, cattledog mix, 3 yo, 46 lb, spayed femaleLady is thin long-legged cattledog mix with the cutest face and floppy ears. She is curious and fascinated by all kinds of things. Lady spent months and months in limbo in boarding and was happy to join our gang and have a choice of playmates.  She is young and active, and needs a fenced yard.  Lady finds it most comforting to lie down close to you especially if she can somehow lean into you. It is hard to understand how this gentle angel, still almost a puppy, could be abandoned. We so hope to find stable loving home for her. Adoption fee $325.
