Story
Alix #24280 is a white and black female Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. She is approximately 3 years old. She weighs 55.0 lbs.. She has not been spayed. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer on 8/18/26; hold expires 8/21/26. She is calm and low energy. She appears to be well socialized. She was thin at intake. She is heartworm negative. She is current on vaccines. She is leash broken. She sits on command. Meds: heartworm negative, distemper/parvo, pyrantal deworm, fleay spray, bordetella/parainfluenza. Meet Alix, a beautiful 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who weighs 55 pounds and has a wonderfully calm, good-natured personality. From the moment we met her, Alix impressed us with her gentle, easygoing nature. She appears friendly and well socialized and has been a pleasure to handle. Alix has a gorgeous white-and-black coat, but her wonderfully fluffy, curled tail may be our favorite feature—it stands out behind her like a little flag waving in the breeze! She is calm and quiet, and so far, we haven't even heard her bark. If you enjoy walks with a well-mannered companion, Alix could be a great match. She is excellent on a leash and heels nicely as she walks. She also knows how to sit on command, showing that she's ready to continue learning with her new family. She was completely cooperative for her diagnostics and vaccines and didn't even need a muzzle for her heartworm blood draw. Her heartworm test was negative. Alix has so much to offer a loving home. Please come meet this sweet, beautiful girl and give her the chance to become your forever companion. Rescue interest is warmly welcomed, too!

Story
BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL Adoptions@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! ##2599337##

ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED FOR APPROVED APPLICANT. Hi everybody, this is Hazel—because she has the prettiest, most expressive Hazel eyes.  She is a sweet girl who is both highly alert and intelligent. She gets along well with other dogs but is wary of new people choosing to study them closely before. Her foster mom says that letting people prove that they are trustworthy is a good policy. Hazel is a high-energy dog who is also quite affectionate when given the time and opportunity to bond with deserving people. Toys and playtime are more important to her than treats, so she needs someone who has time to throw a ball for her. She is SO much fun! Hazel is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on prevention.  ##1402505##

Story
Meet Boo! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, intelligent, active adventure buddy, Boo may be your girl! Boo is a 2.5-year-old Border Collie weighing around 35 pounds, and she is everything you’d expect from this amazing breed. She is incredibly smart, very people-oriented, silly, affectionate, and ALWAYS ready to play. Boo absolutely LOVES toys. In fact, you’ll almost always find her carrying a toy around whenever one is available. Toys are her love language, and she would happily play with you for hours! She is crate trained, house broken, and wonderful with other dogs of all sizes. She loves everyone she meets and has a genuinely sweet, loving personality. But let’s be honest: Boo is a Border Collie, and she is not looking for a life of lounging on the couch all day. She needs a family that understands that her brilliant mind and energetic body need an outlet. She would thrive with someone who wants a dog to hike with, run with, play with, swim with, explore with, and keep mentally stimulated. After a day of adventures, Boo is more than happy to settle in with her people and enjoy the love and security of a home of her own. Boo is looking for an active companion home that will give her plenty of opportunities to use her energy and intelligence while also giving her the safe, loving place to rest her head at night that she deserves. If you’re ready for a silly, smart, toy-loving Border Collie who wants to be your best friend and your adventure partner, Boo is ready to meet you! If you are interested in adopting Boo, please fill out an application at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog Applications can take anywhere from 5–7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email. We are located in Fayette County, GA, and are a foster-based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
Jackson is a wonderful boy who belonged to my mother, who has passed away. He loves his stuffed animals and snuggling in bed and on the couch with his person. He makes growly noises with new people, but it is just him saying hello. The grandchildren taught him this to and called it the woo woo woo hello. He gets on well with other dogs and cats as both were in his home previously. Jackson is housetrained but sometimes has marking incidents if not allowed access to the outside. His mom had a doggie door, so it wasn't a problem, but our home does not so it comes up sometimes. We love Jackson but just cannot keep him. He will be a wonderful and loving friend to his new family!

Story
Bennett is looking for a foster until we can find him a forever home! Bennett is a dog that has come back to our rescue through no fault of his own. We originally pulled him from Newton County Animal Control in 5/2024, a day before he was going to be put down. He stayed at our rescue till 11/2024 when he got adopted. Due to financial difficulties with the adopters he has returned to our rescue and is looking for his forever home again. He is now about 3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Bennett's a happy, fun loving dog! He has had play dates with our doctor's dog and they got along great. One of our vet techs took him on a run with her and he ran well right along side her. He enjoys going on walks and is calm in his kennel and doesn't get bothered with dogs barking around him. He loves a good stuffed animal to throw around the yard and carry in his mouth. But he can be cuddly too and will rest his head against your shoulder when you go in his kennel with him. If you're interested in meeting Bennett make an appointment to meet him by calling 770-787-4899. Adoption application and interview required for adoption. He is located at Ross Animal Hospital, Covington GA.
