Story
911! Mavi urgently needs a foster or adopter NOW After years of being overlooked, this beautiful 4-year-old girl is about to lose the only foster home she has known — and she has nowhere to go Despite being an incredible dog with so much love and potential, Mavi continues to wait while others are chosen before her. We cannot let her fall through the cracks again. Mavi is the perfect mix of shepherd intelligence and collie spirit ✨: brilliant, active, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure, She’s the ideal size for hikes, road trips, yard zoomies, and being your loyal sidekick through life. She absolutely thrives when given structure, activity, and a chance to learn .Mavi completed training with Big Hair Dog Services, where she quickly became a star student ⭐ She is house trained, crate trained, knows excellent manners, and even sits politely at doorways before exiting. She is eager to please, highly trainable, and loves having a job to do. One of Mavi’s favorite things in the world is playing with other dogs She would especially love a home with a canine companion to romp around with. That said, she can be an only dog. What breaks our hearts most is that Mavi is truly a GOOD dog She has done everything asked of her. She has waited patiently. She has worked hard. And yet she is still waiting for someone to finally choose her. Mavi is currently located in Sturbridge, MA, but transport can be arranged almost anywhere for the right home. Her trainer is even offering ongoing virtual support to help her continue succeeding. Please help us find Mavi the family she deserves before she loses her placement She should not have to spend another year wondering why nobody has come for her. Story
Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Montana was placed on final because shelter life has become overwhelming for her. Repeated encounters with unfamiliar people reaching into her kennel have left her feeling uneasy, and she may growl or show her teeth to ask for space. But outside the kennel, Montana’s true personality shines—sweet, playful, and full of love. Montana will thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and build trus ##2599337##

Story
Meet Bellz! 🐾 Bellz is an 11-month-old Border Collie with a spunky personality, a loyal heart, and brains for days. True to her breed, she is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She is crate trained and mostly house trained, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially if they’re ready to play! This girl lives for fun. Bellz will happily play fetch all day long and is especially talented at catching a bouncing tennis ball mid-air. Once she’s comfortable, her energetic and playful side really shines. Bellz can be a very shy at first. New people and environments make her nervous, and she will slink low to the ground and stick very close to the person she trusts most. But don’t let that fool you—she is incredibly loving to her people. She just needs a little time, patience, and reassurance to build confidence for you to be that person. She is wary of strangers and she will warn you if a stranger approaches your home. Your space is her space after all. She would thrive with an owner who is committed to continuing to work on her socialization and with taking her to new places with lots of positive interactions. She enjoys going to new locations with her people and she thrives with training! Because of her sensitive nature, Bellz would do best with a dog-savvy family, ideally someone familiar with herding breeds. She will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. She is still working on her leash skills and does best in calmer, controlled environments with someone she trusts. Bellz LOVES kids and gives the best kisses! Once Bellz bonds with you, she bonds hard. She’ll want to be as close as physically possible—curled up beside you, pressed against you, or gazing deeply into your eyes with her intense (and slightly hilarious) Border Collie stare. It may be a little unnerving at first, but it’s pure love. Bellz weighs about 45 pounds and is nearly full grown. We’re unsure how she does with cats. Bellz came from a home where she had some early socialization but then spent much of her time outdoors without continued exposure. Because of this, she’s looking for a patient, committed family who will help her continue to grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, and deeply devoted companion—and you have the time and experience to help her thrive—Bellz just might be your perfect match. If you’re looking for a gentle, food-loving corgi who will reward your patience with devotion and cuddles, Ana might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting Bellz, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email.** We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED FOR APPROVED APPLICANT. Hi everybody, this is Hazel—because she has the prettiest, most expressive Hazel eyes.  She is a sweet girl who is both highly alert and intelligent. She gets along well with other dogs but is wary of new people choosing to study them closely before. Her foster mom says that letting people prove that they are trustworthy is a good policy. Hazel is a high-energy dog who is also quite affectionate when given the time and opportunity to bond with deserving people. Toys and playtime are more important to her than treats, so she needs someone who has time to throw a ball for her. She is SO much fun! Hazel is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on prevention.  ##1402505##

Story
Bennett is a dog that has come back to our rescue through no fault of his own. We originally pulled him from Newton County Animal Control in 5/2024, a day before he was going to be put down. He stayed at our rescue till 11/2024 when he got adopted. Due to financial difficulties with the adopters he has returned to our rescue and is looking for his forever home again. He is now about 3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Bennett's a happy, fun loving dog! He has had play dates with our doctor's dog and they got along great. One of our vet techs took him on a run with her and he ran well right along side her. He enjoys going on walks and is calm in his kennel and doesn't get bothered with dogs barking around him. He loves a good stuffed animal to throw around the yard and carry in his mouth. But he can be cuddly too and will rest his head against your shoulder when you go in his kennel with him. If you're interested in meeting Bennett make an appointment to meet him by calling 770-787-4899. Adoption application and interview required for adoption. He is located at Ross Animal Hospital, Covington GA.
