Story
Baxter will be one year old January 27,2026. I acquired Baxter from a friend whose niece brought him home without her mother’s permission.. A couple in an apartment had to get rid of him because pets were not allowed. I said that I will take him because I had recently lost my dog Bailey after 13.5 years. Baxter is extremely active and needs to be in a home that’s fenced in. He is super active and must be able to run and play most of the day. I work remotely as a bookkeeper and can’t entertain him most of the day. My home is not fenced in. He will be great with children and other dogs to keep him entertained. He’s pad trained for number two only. He has all his shots and he has been neutered. He is a good playful puppy that needs active people in his life.

Im still learning how to be a dog and trust people&#44 but underneath my cautious side is a heart thats so ready to love. Once I feel safe&#44 youll see how sweet and affectionate I can be!<br/><br/>Im most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isnt such a scary place. Id do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return&#44 I promise to give you all the love Ive been saving up. Hi everybody, this is Hazel—because she has the prettiest, most expressive Hazel eyes.  She is a sweet girl who is both highly alert and intelligent. She gets along well with other dogs but is wary of new people choosing to study them closely before. Her foster mom says that letting people prove that they are trustworthy is a good policy. Hazel is a high-energy dog who is also quite affectionate when given the time and opportunity to bond with deserving people. Toys and playtime are more important to her than treats, so she needs someone who has time to throw a ball for her. She is SO much fun! Hazel is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on prevention.  ##1402505##

Meet Deb! Deb 1 yr old purebred black and white smooth coat Border Collie. Deb requires an owner with a very active lifestyle and breed experience. She is NOT for a new border collie owner. She is young, driven and very energetic. Deb is great with other dogs, I’m unsure about cats yet, and great with kids. Housebroken and crate trained. She loves toys and will play forever but, settles nicely in a kennel. Has good leash manners and doesn’t jump. She is very environmentally sound and stable. Ideally she would go to a potential sport home or as an active companion. This is NOT a dog for someone who wants a couch potato or a companion for your other dog. She needs someone who will exercise her mind and body and fulfill the needs of a young busy border collie. Story
I have had Crane for about a month. At 11 months, he is on the edge between puppy and adult.But one of my dogs has taken a dislike to him and keeps attacking him. For his safety, he needs to be adopted soon. Crane is a lovely boy. He adores people and begs everyone for pets. He also gets along with cats. The only thing he wants out of life is to be with his people, especially in physical contact. I've been taking him to work with me, and the whole way there and back, he curls up in my lap. If I sit on the couch, he wants to sit with me, touching me. He's a Border Collie mix, but I'm not quite sure what the mix is. He does have separation anxiety, but look at it from his point of view. In his first 10 months of life, he has lived in at least 4 different places. In his little world, everyone he loves always leaves. He would do best as an only dog, and I long for him to find a place where the people he loves do not leave.
