Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Shayla is a sweet, resilient girl who recently came to Braveheart Bulliez Rescue after being saved from the urgent list at a local shelter. Through no fault of her own, Shayla lost her home when her former owner became unhoused. Her owner loved her deeply and wanted a better life for her, and that is exactly what we are hoping to give her. We are still getting to know Shayla, but so far she has been incredibly sweet, gentle, and easy to love. Her former owner shared that Shayla is very smart and served as her emotional support dog, which tells us just how special this girl is. She clearly has a soft heart and a lot of love to give. Shayla has also been nonreactive around other dogs so far, and we will continue learning more about her personality, play style, and ideal forever home as she settles in. What we do know is this: Shayla deserves stability, kindness, and a family who will give her the fresh start she has been waiting for. If you are looking for a sweet, soulful companion with a beautiful heart, Shayla may be your girl.
