Debuting Today: Get your application in quickly for this amazing girl. Libby, Libster, Libby Lou Libby is the best girl. If she has a fault, it's she just loves to run and play ball, all day. Saved from being euthanized at a rural pound, for having demodectic mange, Libby is 100% healthy and seeking her Furever home. We have no idea what breed she is, other than striking.. Libby is about 2 yrs old 65lbs, spayed, chipped and all vaccines are current, she is housebroken. Libby would love to have a playmate, she is dog, cat and kid friendly. An active family to hike and walk would be a dream come true for her. She does require a secure fenced yard, as she is an explorer. Libby can clear a 4' fence and can climb a 6' chain link. She would make a wonderful agility dog, with time and training. If you're in the market for a loving, loyal and unique companion Libby is your girl. Story
Shadow is a very good boy. He was subdued when he first got here which is normal, but he has blossomed. The vet estimates his age between 4 and 5 and his breed to be a lab/heeler mix. Shadow gets along with my other dogs, and I have cats as well. He didn’t pay any attention to the cats at first but now that he’s settled in and feeling comfortable, he seems to be more interested in them. He gets very excited when we get up in the morning and has tried to mix it up with one of our cats that sleeps in our room at night. He chases the others when they run past like the rest of my dogs. I don’t know that he would hurt any of my cats but may want to consider a home without cats to be safe. He does let you know when he wants to go outside by making a cute whine/squeak sound and when he’s ready to come in by scratching on the door. We have had a couple of accidents but nothing major. He is loved here and will be missed when he finds his furever home. He’s going to make someone a wonderful addition to their family. Thank you. Story
Pendleton has the very best ears. They reach to the sky and have so much personality. This fun and silly border collie is such a great age at 4 months old. He has had zero accidents in the house, is fantastic in his crate and sleeps all night, and is getting the hang of leash training. Pendleton is a brave explorer. He likes to investigate the house and yard and doesn’t mind venturing around on his own. He has loads of energy as he zooms, rounding up his humans and canines in hopes that they’ll play with him. He’d no doubt be a star in agility or other dog sports. Pendleton is hearing impaired. He is learning hand signals to communicate and is working on “come” and “sit” right now. He would love someone with herding dog experience who understands the energy and brains of these smart dogs. He needs a fenced-in yard and someone devoted to training and adventures. As with many border collies, Pendleton tends to have some OCD tendencies that are easily directed with training and/or a purpose like agility or playing. He’s happiest when he’s busy but also loves cuddling on the couch! Pendleton is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##2030412##

Story
The lovely Miss Mae is waiting to meet you! Mae is a beautiful one year old border collie mix who is the perfect size at 40 pounds. Does she have a little husky in there with that beautiful blue eye and silver tips on her fur? Could be! Mae is playful, talkative, and fun-loving, she is very smart and learns quickly. She is people oriented and wants to stay close by, and loves snuggling on the couch. She would greatly enjoy another dog to play with and to keep her company when her people leave. She is housetrained, doggie door trained, walks well on a leash and is good in the car. She will enjoy a fenced yard, or lots of walks and play time. She does not require crating and is well behaved in the house when left. She enjoys balls and chew toys and will even toss the ball for herself! What a ham! At night she sleeps well in her own bed or will join you in yours if you invite her. She likes chasing small critters, so cats and chickens are likely not for her. She has met a number of children and done well with them. Mae has a heart of gold and would love a family to call her own! If you'd like to meet Mae, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ITMD/Dog. Mae is spayed and fully up to date on shots and preventatives. Her adoption fee is $325.00.
