Waffles is an adorable, friendly and sweet little lady looking for her forever home! She looks like a boxer/pittie mix, she's a perfect size of around 32lb, and is just an absolute joy to be around. Waffles loves to be with her people, and will follow you around to see what you're doing, just in case she thinks you need any assistance. She's especially great with kids and would love a home with children she can snuggle up with. Waffles is very gentle and good natured around kids of all ages. She's a quiet girl around the home but will alert you to let you know if someone comes through the front gate or knocks on your door. Waffles is equal parts active and mellow. If you want to take her on a big hike she'd love that, and she'd equally love to nap by your side and watch a movie. She just wants to do whatever you want to do. Out on walks she isn't in the least but interested in squirrels or cats, she just wants to explore new smells and have fun. She can pull a little on the leash but if you remind her not to, she listens and learns quickly. Waffles is friendly with other dogs and wants to meet and play when them all. She can get a little over excited when she's playing so she just needs a little training to teach her that not all dogs want to play for HOURS . Waffles is a truly lovely little dog and we hope to find her a wonderful home as soon as we can!

Sprout and her sensational ears are looking for a new home! Sprout is a sweet, very loving and gentle medium energy dog. She wakes up every morning with an infectious happiness, excited to start a brand new day with her people. Sprout may be eight years old but she is definitely a younger pup in spirit. She absolutely loves to go running with her foster dad (she has recently joined his running group!) and going for long walks and adventures. She is very playful, she loves her toys and enjoys a game of fetch. In the home she's mellow and very affectionate. If she requests cuddles she will politely nudge your arm to remind you that she wants some love. She's very gentle and loving, and her ultimate happy place is by your side. It's funny how quickly her energy will change from sleepy to excited when you pick up that leash! She's always ready for action. In her previous home, Sprout didn't get very regularly exercised or socialized. Out and about on walks, Sprout does still need some more leash training. She has been mostly uninterested in other dogs when outside, and has barked at a few, but considering her lack of socialization she is doing very well. She is very treat motivated and really wants to please her human, so with ongoing socialization and training she could learn to be more comfortable around other dogs. Sprout is not 100% house trained. Again, sadly this is something that she just wasn't really taught in her previous home. She knows to go on puppy pads, and as we mentioned before she is extremely smart and really wants to do the right thing, so with a little more patience and training we think she could learn what she's supposed to do. Sprout gets a little bit vocal when she's left on her own, but does calm down after a little while. It's just something that she's not used to but she's learning that being on her own is ok and she doesn't need to be worried. Sprout's fosters speak so highly of her, and said she's just impossible not to fall in love with. This sweet girl had a little bit of a rocky start to life but she has so much love to give, and so much excitement for life to share with you! She just needs a kind and patient family to help teach her a few doggy basics to help her learn to reach her full potential. She is ready to learn to be a star pupil and in return be the best friend you've ever had.

Boomer is one of our Boxskies from Mama Mia's litter of nine. MamaMia is one of the San Bernardino Six who were confiscated by the authorities due to extreme neglect and abuse. She was starved, lived in hell fighting to survive, and was extremely pregnant. Fortunately, she came into our care where she could safely have her babies. All of her pups have found homes except for four as of August 10th that are all 19 weeks now. Boomer is a smart, calm boy looking for a home that will provide him the love, guidance and training to be the amazing Boxsky he is meant to be.
