She's about 4.5 year olds and was originally from the South LA shelter. Uki is affectionate, enjoys walks, and wants to be a big lap dog. She is dog neutral but prefers the company of humans. Sadly after 3 years my owner has no time for me and has decided they can’t keep me any longer. I will do best in a home with one other dog, a big yard and older kids that can play ball with me due to my size older kiddos are best. I walk great on a leash; I love to fetch and go on long hikes. This vivacious lady loves hiking, long walks (multiple times a day if you'll oblige), and running zoomies between head scratches, sunbathing, and perching on her fort. Her zest for an adventurist life knows no bound! Laila can be touch sensitive but beneath that wild child exterior, she just wants to be loved and pampered like the queen she is. She was rescued from South LA shelter back in 2018 and has celebrated multiple New Years, Valentine's, Halloweens, Thanksgivings, and Christmases with us. We're hoping this is the year she lands herself an adoring family and warm home to call her own. Laila is house-trained and crate-trained. We recommend a home without other pets and she would do best with older children (high school age or older). Hi. Meet 13 year old CORNBREAD who we think is a pit mix with a Treeing Walker Coonhound. He was dumped on the side of the road and taken to the local shelter where we rescued him. This old guy was in pretty rough shape when he first came to us, but he's been thriving at our kennel is looking for a place to call home. Cornbread is sight-impaired, but he is still alert, VERY affectionate, and likes the company of other mellow dogs. He enjoys car rides, trips to the pet store and loves getting pets from people. Meet SALLY JO BROWN. She a sweet 11 year old senior gal who we rescued from West LA shelter. Her former owner lost their home and could no longer keep Sally Jo and her younger sister who was adopted. The volunteers put out a plea for her and now she's with DDR looking for a forever home. Her owner reported she was chill and relaxed with pretty much everything except cats. She lived with children and another dog. They also reported she was housebroken. Sally Jo weighs about 70lbs.
