Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Hi my name is Brownie, it is very nice to meet you. I have an unknown first six months of my life but the last few weeks of my life I was in a shelter where humans were scary to me. Loud noises also had scared me at the same point. But when I first met my foster mom and her tiny humans I felt a little relief. I was still really scared of them but they gave me my time and my space to really get used to the new environment. If it weren’t for my foster brother, I would still be very scared. I watched my foster brother (a big black dog) interact with his mom and started following his lead. With his help I found that stairs, hardwood floors, grass and even humans are not so scary. It took me a full day to allow my foster mom to pet me but she also let me have lots of treats from her hand which wasn’t so bad. I’m even allowed to get up on the coach, that’s when I will lay my head on my fosters moms feet or even curl up on her legs. I’m trying to understand this whole potty training thing, but I do hold it at night in my kennel, I even sleep through the night without making a noise. Leashes really scare me, so I will pancake myself and not want to walk with one. But with time, training and lots of treats I know that I’ll get comfortable with them. Tips to working with me is that I’m very food motivated. However, I’m not aggressive when it comes to food and I will not jump all over you to get a treat. You also have to ignore me for me to get used to humans. With time, patience and compassion I know that I will grow into not being so fearful when it comes to humans. I can't wait to meet my forever family who will show me the right path to being the perfect doggy companion. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

How beautiful !!! Ella Mae is a stunningly sweet Great Dane mix ready to find her new forever home. Currently she's in a foster home in Memphis, Tennessee with two little boys who adore her. She's great with children and other dogs! She is kennel, trained, and house trained. She walks nicely on leash and she would be a great candidate for a family with children!

Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Story
"Hi there, I’m Tinkerbell — but my friends call me Bell!   I’m a 12-pound, 4–5-month-old Texas girl with the prettiest deep chocolate brown coat you’ve ever seen. I may be young, but I’ve got an old soul—you can see it in my eyes.   Right now, I’m living with my two fun foster sisters (they’re medium-sized pups) and one very cranky cat-uncle. He let me know real quick that cats are not toys. Message received! We’re cool now.   I LOVE playing in the yard and running around until I burn off all my zoomies. Then it’s naptime—my favorite spots are soft couches and cozy laps. At night, I’m a good sleeper in my covered kennel. I also love chew toys and stuffies (especially the squeaky kind!).   I’m still learning where to potty (I need help with reminders), and I’m teething, so I need lots of safe chew toys. My foster mom says I’m really smart—I’m learning “Sit” and “Stay,” and I’m doing well on a leash too!   I can be a little shy with new people, so please be patient if we meet. Once I know you’re safe, I’ll stick to you like your shadow. Pinky promise.   I’m hoping to find a forever home where I’m not alone too much. I’d love a friendly pup to play with, or a human (or two) who’s home often. I like kiddos too—just maybe not the tiny ones who might step on me... I’m still learning how to dodge feet!   If you think we’re a match… swipe right and let’s start our forever. Please fill out the adoption application at Trevorsanimalrescue.com so we can meet ! Love, Bell" ##2442004##

Story
Demi gets excited at the rescue and doesn't show her best self. If you're interested in meeting her, we will accept off-site meet and greets, just email us at info@coloradopuppy.org. Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Demi has been in our home now for a little over 8 weeks. She has changed a lot over that time with us and we have learned a lot about her too. She was found with 7 pups that have all now been adopted. At just 1 year old, she is still very much a puppy. She loves our bed and would love to sleep with you every night. She cuddles at first and will fall asleep snoring on your shoulder. Because she shares our house with two other dogs at night too, she has also learned how to sleep peacefully in the kennel in our room every night. One tap on the kennel and give her a treat and she is in her kennel and quiet all night. She does great with our two older dogs and would love to have a playmate in her furever home. She has the gift of being able to see television. If we watch anything that has an animal in it, commercial or show, she barks and runs right up to the tv to welcome the animal she just saw. She is always up for a belly rub and is potty trained and doggy door trained. Are you Demi’s furever family? Please come meet her and find out. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
