Loves dogs and people. Great candidate for house and basics training to be the perfect pup. Gives gentle jump hugs and kisses- also gets strong zoomies when having fun. When very happy she can get excited and give love nips so we are reinforcing good manners. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Birdie is a sweet and very affectionate puppy. She definitely has a lot of energy and can play all day long! She's super quiet, and doesn't bite or scratch at all. In the time she's been here, she's explored every inch of the living room, and while she might be a bit shy, she's very curious and loving. She's not potty trained, but with how smart she is, she'll pick it up fast! She's been introduced to crate training and has had no problems. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Sadie is a beautiful black brindle boxer/german shepherd mix, 4 years old, 5 in August. When she first came home, she and her sister had a large backyard, and were only alone for a few hours a day. She is part German Shepherd, and is very protective and territorial. She loves to run and play, and is wonderful with my infant daughter. Sadie had a spinal stroke in 2022, which had her paralyzed from the waist down for several weeks. She still has some neuropathy in her hind legs, and has trouble telling when she needs to go to the bathroom, leading to some incontinence. She is very dog reactive on the leash and protects her home and her people fiercely. She needs to be the alpha, so a home with male dogs or where she is the only pet, may be best. She is sweet, snuggly, and very smart. She will do well with someone that can dedicate time to training her a bit more. I am willing to give both girls to a good home as they are litter mates and very close.

Story
0324048 - You know how some rescue dogs are just so grateful to have been rescued? That's Pablo 100%! He came from a New Mexico shelter after he was found as a stray. Pablo did have a chip and was adopted from the Ruidoso shelter-BUT the number was disconnected and AC went to the address on file and no one lived there anymore. It appears this sweet little guy may have been intentionally dumped to fend for himself. He wasn't thriving as a street dog, he is far too kind and sweet and his skinny body bears testament to that fact. Pablo is safe in foster now and looking forward to happier days and plentiful food bowls. He is about 45 lbs and looks like a boxer/pitbull mix and around 1-2 years old. He loves playing with other dogs who want to play and respects the older dogs who don't. Pablo is house trained but sometimes will mark but we are working on that ans hoping it will improve now that he is neutered.  He also doesn't mind being in the kennel while you are gone or to sleep at night. He has a very loving disposition and his little crooked face and snaggletooth make him extra cute. Pablo also walks great on lead and enjoys meeting and greeting people on the trail.  He does need a bit of work on not counter surfing but since he was starving on the street we will give him a bit of slack. Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Classic, sophisticated, and years of experience being a good girl, I'm Miracle! As a mature 9-year-old boxer/lab mix, I have many wonderful gifts for my new family. I hope you will read about me and give me the opportunity to meet you and show you how special I am. I am a graduate of a wonderful and comprehensive dog training program, where I learned all of my basic commands (and a few fancy ones, too) so I could be fully prepared to be the best girl I can be for my new home! I walk amazingly well on a leash, and I love checking out the neighborhood of my foster home with my foster sister, but I can also be 100% couch potato. I am fully crate trained and can sleep all night in my crate (full disclosure: my favorite spot is to sleep snuggled up to my 13-year-old human foster sister). My ideal home would be one with lots of love. I love attention, pets, snuggles. Keeping up with my amazing training skills is easy as I am very food motivated! I am currently fostered in a home with one other dog, and I have become BFF's with her. Through proper introductions, I get along well with other dogs. I love my foster sibling and would do well with another dog similar in size to me who also likes to wrestle and play (please check out my videos). I am a lover, not a barker, with such a sweet disposition that everyone loves. My ideal home can absolutely include older children, as I do love kids! Due to my lack of awareness of size, I could unintentionally knock over little ones. My foster home has a 13-year-old girl who lets me sleep on her bed, and I happily greet all her friends who come to visit! All her friends say I’m their favorite! All in all, I’m a very easygoing, happy girl who wants a family to call my own! If that sounds like you, I hope to meet you soon! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1174512##

Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Ms. 499 is a beautiful, but very cautious, pitty-lab mix. She has a full black coat with a white crest on her chest. She is very much a lover and snuggler and likes curling up on the couch beside you or at your feet for a nap. She is curious and wants to investigate and then play with all of the toys. She is a smart and curious girl who is learning some basic commands (like sit) and to do her business outside. She is eager to please, so she should be easy to train, and she will make for a loving, attentive companion. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: OMG! This boy, who I'm calling Thaddeus is just so sweet and loving. Which is good cuz he's gonna be BIG! (maybe mastiff mix??) He is obsessed with his human and will follow them anywhere. You may never spend a moment alone again if he has anything to say about it. He has a cute little chip out of his ear which really just adds to the puppy dog eyes. He gets along great with my dogs and takes corrections well (even from my 6 month old pup who really doesn't need to be bossing anyone around). And I really think he'd do great in any home - dogs, cats, kids, chickens, whatever. He doesn't have a care in the world as long as he can sit next to you! He's still working on potty training and may need some more deliberate crate training (currently doesn't go in willingly but that might just be that he wants to be with me). He is a little nervous when he first got to my house but he will follow you anywhere so it's a decently quick transition. He doesn't really seem to be bitey but he is a bit of a counter surfer, he just wants to check out everything it seems. Update from foster parent: he only had accidents in the crate on the first night - otherwise he is fully crate potty-trained (even through my long work day yesterday). Just needs positive crate reinforcement so he goes in willingly. No accidents in the house as we spend plenty of time in the yard when I'm home. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
