At a perfect 69 pounds, I’m big enough to look impressive but soft enough to melt right into your lap like a weighted blanket with feelings. I came from a shelter in Kansas where I was THIS CLOSE to running out of time… but I got saved in the nick of time and wow, am I grateful. Every day I wake up like, “Umm… warm beds? Humans who cuddle? Snacks that appear magically?? Is this HEAVEN?” My foster mom says — and I quote — I’m “the best dog.” Not a good dog. THE best dog. (I didn’t say it… but I’m also not arguing.) Here’s my resume, because I’m a professional good boy: House trained — literally never had an accident. Kennel trained — I snooze like a champ. Dog-friendly — I love playing, goofing around, and making new friends. Very smart — I learn fast and want to make you proud. Cuddle Expert Level 10 — I’m soft, I’m sweet, I’m snuggly. It’s my whole brand. Oh — and wait until you see my tail. I’ve got the cutest little nub that wiggles at MACH SPEED whenever I’m happy. Which is… basically always. It’s pure joy in tail form. Poppi is very sweet and loving. He is very intuitive, loves walks, and is great on and off leash. I rescued him from a puppy shelter when he was three months old, and he is now a year and a half. It hurts me to rehome him, but i've realized that he really needs a home with either a bigger yard, or with someone who has time to get him out more.

While I’m thinking we’re not related, I do love his paintings of families by the fireplace, loyal dogs at their feet. No need for the fireplace, mind you. You had me at lie at your feet. I could also lie on them, if you prefer? #cuddlebug #rockwell #timeforustosettledown I’m a brainy sort who loves puzzles, especially those involving food. If that Sunday crossword were made of treats, I’d surely make the front page. I also love a good road trip, wind in my ears, or cuddling up with a warm mug of chai, you by my side. Then, after a good nap, I’m ready to romp in those fall leaves (If only I could rake them for you.)  In addition to mental exercise, I like to stay fit by rolling around the yard, going for a run, or taking a nice walk together ( I do love our walks.) Do you lean more toward snuggly nights in rather than hiking a 14’er? So does Bubba!  Meet Bubba, a ridiculously adorable ~6-month-old American Pit Bull mix with a heart-melting face and striking black-and-white markings that turn heads everywhere he goes. Bubba’s foster mom can’t say enough good things about him: “Bubba is the most laid-back puppy I have ever worked with! He gets playful with the other dogs—especially in the evenings—but most of the time he’s just lounging around. He LOVES the couch! He’s learning his name, responds to ‘no’ very quickly, is house trained, uses the doggy door on his own, and keeps his kennel clean. He is not a high-energy dog AT ALL. I’ll try to get some pics of him standing upright, lol!” This sweet boy is the definition of easygoing. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves kids.
