Shakur is an amazing and loving pup. He is very affectionate and very obedient. He loves to sunbathe and take walks with the people he loves. He’s very smart and adapt easily to other people. Shakur is a sensitive guy and although he is nine years old, he’s very young at heart no health problems and deserves a good home with a loving family and possibly a yard. He craves closeness with people, but doesn’t care much for other animals.

Story
This puppy is part of a litter that was dropped off at only a few days old at a local municipal shelter. There was an emergency plea put out and some of our wonderful foster parents stepped up to the plate and hand fed these puppies until they were eating on their own. A local donor was curious to the breed and a DNA test came back with boxer and border collie. Some of the puppies show the coat of a border collie, while others have the more smooth coat of a boxer. They have been in homes with kids and other dogs, and have had a VERY thorough introduction to life as a pet (including stairs, vacuum cleaners, etc.) This puppy is Wilson. He is a very playful and energetic dog, and would do great in a home with other dogs and children. He would love to be a hiking buddy and an active part of the family. Wilson has been neutered, is vaccinated for age appropriate vaccines, has been dewormed and given a flea/tick preventative, and is microchipped with registration. Wilson would love to join a forever family, and this pup has been really well socialized and has the best kind of foundation to make someone a best four legged friend. His fosters report that he has never met a stranger, can keep his kennel clean for 8 hours at a time, but that he sometimes has a short attention span. Wilson is $450 to adopt.

She has a smoother coat and was the runt of the litter (and remains smaller than her siblings). She a sweet and loving pup and loves to cuddle, but has an independent attitude. Lark loves exploring and checking the world out. Lark has been exposed to cats, dogs and kids, and does well with all of them. She would do well as an active dog with hiking and other engaging activities. Lark has been spayed, is vaccinated for age appropriate vaccines, has been dewormed and given a flea/tick preventative, and is microchipped with registration. Lark is working on crate and housetraining, but is still working on it. Lark would love to join a forever family, and this pup has been really well socialized and has the best kind of foundation to make someone a best four legged friend. Lark is $450 to adopt.

He a sweet and loving pup, but he has very little interest in long hikes or marathon wrestle sessions. Sneffels is a very laid back and chill, and would do really well with kids of all ages, other animals, and a household that wants a companion and maybe not a dog that needs to go running every day. Sneffels has been neutered, is vaccinated for age appropriate vaccines, has been dewormed and given a flea/tick preventative, and is microchipped with registration.
