Story
Dolly is 40Ibs of pure love and joy. She absolutely loves to cuddle and has completely melted the hearts of her foster family. She is super outgoing and affectionate with new people. She doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in her body. Dolly is quite the character—super playful, silly, curious and bright. When she's not playing or cuddling, she also does well chilling in her crate. She doesn't bark or whine much at all. She is potty trained, sits when asked, and usually comes when called, but is still working on solidifying her recall when distractions are present. She is also working on leash training. Dolly would do great with a family that has a fenced yard. Ms. Dolly will surely bring an abundance of love and happiness to her forever family.  ##2661644##

Story
These 11 blackandwhite and tricolor charmers are the full package: Boxer goofiness, Lab sweetness, and a dash of mysterymix magic that makes each one uniquely irresistible. They're already showing off their big personalities - from the class clowns to the cuddle bugs to the thinkers who sit back and observe before pouncing into the fun. They've mastered the art of puppy eyes, perfected the wigglybutt greeting, and are currently accepting applications for lifelong best friends. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2692129##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Marco! He’s a sweet, affectionate adult dog who loves human attention and enjoys engaging with his people. Marco has a playful side and really lights up when toys are involved. He’s social with humans and seeks out interaction, making him a great match for adopters looking for a loving, people-oriented companion.Marco does have a notable prey drive, so he needs a home without small mammals, cats, or small dogs. Dog parks are not an appropriate environment for him. However, he can do well on leashed pack walks with large, compatible dogs and may enjoy having a big-dog friend in a structured environment. With consistency, clear guidance, and proper management, Marco can thrive in a home that understands his boundaries and supports his needs.
