Story
Meet Radar! Radar is a 5 year old fun energetic guy that loves to play, go on car rides, and be interactive with his people. He has obedience training, and is better suited as an only dog as he can be a bit rough with other dogs. He enjoys being outside in the sun and hanging out with his people. He does excellent in his kennel and is potty trained! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Browne! Browne is a loving 10 month old handsome boxer mix. He is over the moon excited for attention, and will show it by smothering you with kisses. He loves being as close to his family as possible, even if it means just sitting watching you clean.Browne especially loves children of all ages. And will use his adorable puppy eyes to be carried by them as much as possible. Browne does very well with all larger and smaller dogs. The more friends the better. We are still working on crate training and potty training. However, he does an AMAZING job going potty as soon as he steps outside. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Candy! Candy is quite funny, she takes a few days to warm, but once she does she full of personality. She has a lot of energy for a 9 year old and likes to hide it, but her first day with us she pushed past us after an hour walk to run around the neighborhood at full speed, so be mindful of opening doors. She loves to play fetch and doesn't seem to chew up toys, loves having her beds to lay in. Doesn't seem to care about furniture (being on it) or sleeping with us. We haven't used the kennel yet she seems to be ok being alone for short periods of time. Her only big quirk we have found is that she refuses to go per/poop in the yard unless desperate, she prefers to hold it until she goes on her evening walks. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Payton! Payton is a sweet 4 year old mixed breed gal who loves people! She has a happy disposition, smiling and wagging her tail most of the day! Payton plays well with her foster sister and gets along with children of all ages. A slow introduction to new dogs would give her comfort. We have never seen her around cats so are unsure of her response.Payton wants to be with her people as much as possible. She will follow you from room to room, happy to lay nearby if you are working. She loves snuggling and giving kisses.Payton is potty trained and uses the dog door like a champ! She willingly goes into her crate when you leave home and at night. She has learned sit and come but is still working on down and wait. She doesn't seem to have much leash experience but is working on it!Sweet Payton is going to make someone the nose wonderful companion! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Evander! Evander was rescued from the border in Eagle Pass, TX. He is likely a boxer mix around 2 years old, with a very calm demeanor and would love being a couch potato. He is still adjusting with intense lifestyle change from the border so taking him out for a walk, pup cup etc will benefit him a lot! He is fantastic on leash and he rides car good! He appears to be dog friendly especially no problems at all with females. Probably no thanks to males who have a strong personality because Evander is a chill baby.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
My dear departed Jake of 15 years brought home a friend. She was a black and white pit mix that we ended up naming Seymore because she suddenly came to us. We were never able to find Seymore's owners. We took her to the vet to see if she was chipped. The vet said she was about 8 months and not fixed and that we aught to do that. Seymore went into heat and got pregnant and it is her puppies we want to rehome. The dog that sired the litter was a hound dog breed with a brindle coat. Our Jake and the other hound not ours that fathered the litter were both hit and killed by a car within 2 weeks of each other. We have 9 puppies to find homes for. Photos attached of four of them. This puppies are black and white short hair pit mix/hound 6 females 4 males.
