Story
Hi, I’m Skeeter! I’m a super sweet, handsome boy with a gentle heart and an easygoing vibe. I love being near my people, soaking up all the affection, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures—like cozy naps, yummy treats, and quiet company. I’m the kind of guy who just wants to be loved and give that love right back. I can’t wait to be your new best buddy!FOSTER REASON: I am awaiting a dental procedure. Don`t worry, it’s covered by the SPCA while I am in foster! I will just need a few scheduled vet appointments at the SPCA before I’ll be ready to shine! Come meet me from 12 PM to 6 PM, open every day. No application or appointment required - walk-ins welcome. SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212 Or if you’re interested in just fostering, please email foster@spca.org to schedule an appointment!

Story
** Please read to the end to learn how to adopt! Gus is an adorable and affectionate Boxer mix who is eager to find his forever home.  He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him!   He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!!   He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin.  We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less.  He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar.  It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.'  He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return.  He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too ! He is good with other dogs and children.  He's an all-around great dog and has many years ahead to fill your life with love and fun!   If you're looking for a sweet and friendly dog, Gus is the one for you!    Please apply to Foster OR Adopt Brady by completing the online application you will find near his photos on our website,  www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org

Story
Anyone up for some Tea? This sweet and curious girl may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll steal your heart. Tea’s favorite things in life are her ball, yummy treats, and mealtime—so it doesn’t take much to make her happy! Normally a quiet and laid-back pup, she has the cutest little bark when she decides to use it. Tea would do best in a home with older children, as she has a habit of putting things in her mouth like a curious toddler. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll gladly curl up in your lap and soak up all the head rubs she can get. With a medium-to-high energy level, Tea is always up for playtime but also enjoys relaxing with her favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Tea is ready to bring warmth and love into your home! Could Tea be the perfect match for you? To meet Tea, please fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . $295 Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth area Applications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  October 22, 2025, 6:51 pm
