RIO HAS HAD ONE EMAIL IN ALL MOST 2 YEARS!! HE IS AN AMAZING SWEET GUY, STILL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! MEET RIO! Rio was down in South Texas and he was very sick. One of our volunteer saw him and he really spoke to her heart. So we had him transport it up here and began his medical treatment. Rio was a tiny puppy that was emaciated and dying from parasites! Those days are over for him and he is now a healthy boy! Rio is 2 1/2 years old and 48 lbs and fully grown. This boy is a sweetheart! He loves other dogs. No cats with him. Rio is super sweet and smart and loves to be with his people. We think when dogs come from a hard situation, they really show their appreciation. Rio LOVES to play fech and tug-a-war!! Kodiak truly believes he’s a lap dog—don’t be surprised if he tries to snuggle right up with you! Three years ago, Kodiak was rescued from a shelter in heartbreaking condition, weighing only 47 lbs with every rib and his backbone visible. With care and love, and plenty of peanut butter, he’s transformed into the happy, healthy pup he is today. Kodiak’s favorite things: Peanut butter treats Ear rubs (his absolute favorite!) Running and playing at doggie daycare He’s a social butterfly—great with other dogs, cats, and children—and has never shown aggression. In fact, Kodiak has never even barked! He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him! He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!! He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin. We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less. He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar. It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.' He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return. He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too !
