Story
Hi, I’m Rambo I’m a 9-month-old young dog with lots of playful energy and a sweet heart to match. I love to run around, play, and enjoy everything the day has to offer. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, playing with toys, or having fun with my people, I’m always ready for a good time. Even with all my energy, I’m also a very sweet boy who loves affection and being close to the people I care about. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion to add joy and excitement to your days, I’d love to meet you.Borrow a Buddy Notes: Rambo was so excited to sniff everything new on our hike, and he was very eager to meet the other people along the trail. He was full of energy, but also was happy to stop for a few minutes to eat some treats and give me kisses!Come meet me from 12 PM to 6 PM, open every day.No application or appointment required - walk-ins welcome.SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212

Story
RIO HAS HAD ONE EMAIL IN ALL MOST 2 YEARS!! HE IS AN AMAZING SWEET GUY, STILL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! MEET RIO! Rio was down in South Texas and he was very sick. One of our volunteer saw him and he really spoke to her heart. So we had him transport it up here and began his medical treatment. Rio was a tiny puppy that was emaciated and dying from parasites! Those days are over for him and he is now a healthy boy! Rio is 2 1/2 years old and 48 lbs and fully grown. This boy is a sweetheart! He loves other dogs. No cats with him. Rio is super sweet and smart and loves to be with his people. We think when dogs come from a hard situation, they really show their appreciation. Rio LOVES to play fech and tug-a-war!! Would you like to meet sweet boy? EMAIL: mini-mutts@outlook.com (fosters/adopters must reside in the DFW Metroplex or surrounding area) ONE WEEK HOME TRIAL BEFORE ADOPTING! * MUST HAVE ANOTHER DOG * NO APARTMENTS * NO CHILDREN UNDER 8 YRS OLD

Story
Meet Kodiak! Kodiak is a handsome Boxer-Pitt mix, weighing in at a healthy 80 lbs and full of love. At 4 years old, he’s the perfect balance of playful and gentle. Kodiak truly believes he’s a lap dog—don’t be surprised if he tries to snuggle right up with you! Three years ago, Kodiak was rescued from a shelter in heartbreaking condition, weighing only 47 lbs with every rib and his backbone visible. With care and love, and plenty of peanut butter, he’s transformed into the happy, healthy pup he is today. Kodiak’s favorite things: Peanut butter treats Ear rubs (his absolute favorite!) Running and playing at doggie daycare He’s a social butterfly—great with other dogs, cats, and children—and has never shown aggression. In fact, Kodiak has never even barked! He thrives in environments where he can play and interact, so a home with other dogs and/or kids would be ideal. Kodiak is loving, loyal, and playful, and he deserves a family who can give him the attention he craves. Unfortunately, due to frequent travel, his current owner hates having to board him so often and wants to find him a home where he’ll be surrounded by love every day. If you’re looking for a gentle giant who will melt your heart, Kodiak is your guy! Kodiak is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Story
Anyone up for some Tea? This sweet and curious girl may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll steal your heart. Tea’s favorite things in life are her ball, yummy treats, and mealtime—so it doesn’t take much to make her happy! Normally a quiet and laid-back pup, she has the cutest little bark when she decides to use it. Tea would do best in a home with older children, as she has a habit of putting things in her mouth like a curious toddler. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll gladly curl up in your lap and soak up all the head rubs she can get. With a medium-to-high energy level, Tea is always up for playtime but also enjoys relaxing with her favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Tea is ready to bring warmth and love into your home! Could Tea be the perfect match for you? To meet Tea, please fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . $295 Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth area Applications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  March 8, 2026, 10:12 pm

Story
Chance was adopted from Collin County Animal Shelter about five years ago and has been an amazing companion ever since. Hes a sweet, well-behaved boxer mix who loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and does well with kids and cats. Hes fully house-trained, knows tricks like sit, spin, and paw, and does great on walks. He doesnt bark much and loves to cuddle and be close to his humans. Chance has mild seasonal skin allergies (common for boxers) that are managed with regular allergy medication. Otherwise, hes in great health. Due to a recent divorce and the resulting life and financial changes, Im no longer able to provide for him the way he deserves. Im hoping to find him a loving home where he can continue to thrive. He would make a wonderful addition to a family or a single person looking for a loyal companion. If youre looking for a sweet, well-behaved dog who loves to cuddle and be part of your life, Chance may be your perfect match. ❤️
