Howie was scheduled to be euthanized at Dallas Animal Services; I saved him and am looking for a good home. Howie is approximately 9 yrs old. He loves people but may be a bit protective. He lives with 2 other dogs and a blind cat. He did have some issues in the beginning trying to acclimate to the pack but is now doing well. He loves toys and food and sometimes may get a little aggressive with the other dogs if they try to take from him. Howie just wants his own person to adore. He will follow you everywhere. He does not get on furniture but loves his doggy bed. Howie does not like to be confined. He will have some separation anxiety at first. Howie would be great for a retired person that wants company and a best friend. Howie may do best in a home, as he will let you know when he hears strange noises or sees someone walking by.

Abandoned at a gas station, emaciated and struggling to survive, Sophie was given a second chance at life when she was rescued and transported to DFW. After spending almost 2 years in foster care, Sophie has blossomed into a healthy and happy dog. She's a bit of a couch potato, spending most of her day lounging in her bed, but she loves to spring into action when it's time to eat! Sophie gets the zoomies once or twice a day and enjoys running around in the yard. She's a bit of a homebody and prefers to be indoors, doing her business and then heading back to the door. Meaty is a 3.5 year old, 80 lb Bulldog mix. That face, those wrinkles, totally adorable! He faced some tough times before coming to Humane Tomorrow. He was found as a stray, rumaging through the trash, looking for food. He was hungry, emaciated, and both eyes were infected. All that is history, and he is now ready for adoption. His foster family has fattened him up, his eyes have been treated, and he is a happy, friendly boy. Foster mom says he loves people and really, really wants to sit next to you on the couch or take over the entire ottoman as his very own. He loves his foster family and is smitten with the 8 year old boy. When Meaty is sad, he cries like Chewbacca and makes you feel so bad for him (but also make you laugh)! He walks well on leash and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is doing ok with the other dogs in his foster home but can be a little too pushy for the smaller dog. Meet Gaspar! He is a 5 month old, 35lb Lab/Pittie mix. If you think he looks handsome in his photo, you should see him in person! He has a soft gray coat with brownish highlights, and beautiful amber eyes. He was found living in the woods with mom and eight littermates. Gaspar may be a little timid at first because living in the woods was scary, but he has made great progress with his wonderful foster people, and he will warm up quickly once he feels safe and secure. He loves to play with other dogs, and he really needs another companion dog in his new home to help him settle in more quickly. He loves to play with toys, and just have fun and enjoy life.
