Meet Sophie, a sweet and lovable 6 year old boxer mix who has come a long way from her rough start on the streets of South Texas. Abandoned at a gas station, emaciated and struggling to survive, Sophie was given a second chance at life when she was rescued and transported to DFW. After spending almost 2 years in foster care, Sophie has blossomed into a healthy and happy dog. She's a bit of a couch potato, spending most of her day lounging in her bed, but she loves to spring into action when it's time to eat! Sophie gets the zoomies once or twice a day and enjoys running around in the yard. She's a bit of a homebody and prefers to be indoors, doing her business and then heading back to the door. Sophie is looking for a forever home where she can be the only pet. She's not a fan of other dogs or cats, but she loves people and adores attention. She does well with older children 13+. She's potty trained, house trained, and knows how to sit on command. Sophie does well on a leash. Sophie is spayed, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Sophie might be the perfect fit for you. We're hoping to find a family who will keep in touch and send updates on this sweet girl's new life. Aston is only a year old, shes a very playful puppy and she loves to make friends with everyone. She currently lives with 2 other dogs and 4 cats but would probably do better with just 1 or 2 other animals. She was adopted from a shelter when she was 5 months old and has always been a little nervous around cars and fast movements but she just runs away to hide. She is very food motivated, but also needs to eat alone because she is protective over her food. She is crate trained, dog door trained, and potty trained. She knows sit, stay, and lay down. Shes just looking for someone to play with during the day and cuddle with at night. Astons being rehomed because we have a baby on the way and she has too much energy (and too little spatial awareness) to be around little children but does great with older kids and adults. She comes with her crate and some toys but needs her year old shots updated. She’s been dewormed and has her puppy vaccinations.

Tatum is a very sweet six-month-old puppy who is feeling overwhelmed and fearful in the shelter environment. He tends to retreat to the back of his kennel and shows signs of stress, including tense body language and avoidance behaviors, but once outside, he begins to relax, allowing gentle petting and seeking comfort. Tatum is still learning to trust and feels safest when close to a calm, reassuring person. Despite his fear, he shows curiosity and willingness to engage once he feels secure, even trying to follow back when returning to his kennel. This gentle, anxious boy would benefit greatly from a calm, patient environment where he can feel safe and build confidence.

She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel at events very well and is potty trained. She would make a great dog for a retired person Who just want a companion to hang out around the house with. Bambi is very calm and not a big barker. She walks very well on a leash and would be fine in a home with a yard or even a condo or townhouse. Bambi is fully vetted, spayed and heartworm negative. Looking for a cuddler? A dog that has a massive heart? Well meet Draco! He truly is the best dog. He has a sweet termerment, love babies and gets along well with other dogs and humans. If he could lay on you or sleep in the bed all day, he would. Draco will be 3 in April and weighs about 75lbs. He is a pit/lab terrier mix. There are days when he is scared of his own shadow, so if youre looking for an aggressive dog, this isnt him. He is current on his vaccines, has the allergy shot and will eat anything you throw his way. He needs a home with children to love as its hard for him to function when my children leave for the weekend. He is truly mans best friend. It breaks my heart to rehome him, as Ive had him for almost a yr, but my lease says he has to go. Hes been treated for a skin infection, mange, a bacterial infection, mites and allergies but we cannot figure out what makes his coat come and go. Through it all, Draco has been very sweet and lovable! Hes a true catch!
