Sonic is 3 years old . His birthday is 2 days after Christmas. He has a ton of energy and loves to be outside and run in the yard . He hasn’t been around other dogs so I’m not sure how he will react . He’s been around several kids all different ages and does well . He’s loves ropes and balls and to play he’s a very active boy and loves to sun bathe. Due to my health I’m unable to care for him as he needs. He loves walks but can be stubborn at times and will stop when he’s had enough . We haven’t been to the dog park so again I don’t how he react. He’s a blanket stealer. I have a crate for him if needed . We only crate him when our maintenance guy comes by as he’s scared of big dogs, He needs someone that has just as much energy as he does. He is scared of storms just found that out . He will hide behind the couch . We have a doggy door so he’s use to having that to go in and out when he wants. I do close it at night he’s tried to bring some critters into play .

Here`s a little about me: I`ve got the goofy, gangly energy of a puppy who is still trying to figure out how his legs work, and I would like nothing more than a running partner, a hiking buddy or just someone to chase a ball within the backyard. When the zoomies wear off, though, I turn into a total snuggle bug, I promise. I`ll happily curl up next to you on the couch and remind you what it feels like to be somebody`s whole world. I haven`t met a stranger yet, and I don`t plan to start. New people make my tail go a mile a minute. I`m still working on my house manners though, so a crate or kennel while I learn the ropes would help me become the best version of myself. Looking to rehome our 5-year-old dog to a loving family. He is house-trained, knows to go potty outside, and is a very sweet, relaxed, and loyal dog. He has been around children and has always done great with them. He loves being part of the family and enjoys spending time with his people. He knows several commands including sit, lay down, roll over, and jump. He is protective of his family and has a gentle personality. He was raised as an apartment dog and is used to leash walks, but he has also adjusted well to living in a home with a yard. He would likely do best as the only dog, as we are unsure how he does with other dogs. He may need some time, patience, and extra love while adjusting to a new home. Like many dogs, changes can make him anxious at first, but once he settles in, he is a wonderful companion.
