She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel at events very well and is potty trained. She would make a great dog for a retired person Who just want a companion to hang out around the house with. Bambi is very calm and not a big barker. She walks very well on a leash and would be fine in a home with a yard or even a condo or townhouse. Bambi is fully vetted, spayed and heartworm negative. Weighing 62 pounds, she arrived at the shelter as a stray—her body showing the signs of being overbred, her teats still full of milk, but no puppies in sight. It was clear she was grieving, both physically and emotionally. Despite her pain, Remy remained incredibly gentle and loving. She also bore scars and a skin infection, but through it all, her sweet nature never faded. Her beautiful face and soulful eyes speak volumes about the hardship she’s survived—and the love she’s still ready to give. Remy is believed to be potty trained and kennel trained. We will now be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and closed Friday through Sunday. In addition to these hours, we will be available after-hours, including Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment. Along with our new hours, all Wednesday adoptions are now by appointment only to allow our staff more time to prepare for Thursday vax-shacks and surgery days.Adoption fees for dogs are $100.00 (unless otherwise noted), which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and worming.
