Story
Meet Kobi, a large 5-year-old adult Boxer/Pit mix with a heart of gold. He was rescued from a crowded shelter in California, where he came in with a Chihuahua. The little dog got adopted and Kobi was left behind (until he was rescued!). He loves the water, loves to play, and always has a smile to give. This gentle giant, weighing in at 87 pounds, is a true couch potato. His mellow nature makes him the perfect companion for cozy evenings in. But don't let his laid-back demeanor fool you: Kobi is smart and independent. He's a quick learner, always eager to please. Kobi is also shy, but once he warms up to you, he's incredibly loyal and friendly. His favorite pastime? Lounging! Kobi would do best in a quiet home where he can live a quiet lifestyle. Story
HI - I'M NELLY! I'm a 6-month-old fun-loving brown & black Boxer mix puppy ready for a foster or forever home! All of my littermates were adopted, and I'm left behind, feeling a bit sad and lonely. I'm currently in Washington ready to meet you! My mom is a red Boxer mix, saved late last year from a California shelter, and she weighs about 25 lbs., but I'll likely be larger as I'm already close to that weight. I am a sweet dog who loves to romp and play with any dog. I have been great with all dogs and people, too. All , and I love explore my surroundings. I also love to take naps and snuggle! I'm currently too young to be spayed but a vet will determine when I'm ready. Please email for an application.

Story
SNUGGLE? DID SOMEONE SAY "SNUGGLE"? My name is Tilly and I am a 2-year-old Boxer girl who loves, loves, loves to cuddle on the couch or the bed, gaze into your eyes and show my affection. I'm a great hugger, and a Velcro dog through and through. I love to play male dogs, but should be the only dog in the home due to my jealousy and resource-guarding tendencies. I will do well with an active person or people as I've got the typical Boxer energy. I love the beach, love to go for walks and love to go on hikes. At home, I'll happily sit on your lap to watch TV. I am extremely smart and attentive and adorable, and I weigh about 68 pounds. I'm currently in the Greater Seattle area. Please email for an application.

MEET JOEY! Joey is a 7-month-old purebred Boxer puppy rescued from a California shelter. He came out of the shelter with stitches on his muzzle and body as he had likely been attacked by another dog. But Joey is doing great now! He's still underweight and we're working on that but beyond that he's a wonderful puppy. He would do great with an active person or people. Joey currently needs a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.

HI THERE - I'M SAMBA! I'm a 2-year-old Boxer-Lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter, and since I was saved, nobody has even noticed me! Not sure why - I'm a great dog. I get along great with other dogs and I love to romp and play. I'm also a love with people. I would do well with an active person or people who could take me for walks, hikes or other outings. I'm an active dog but I also love a good snuggle. I could also have some husky in me due to my curly tail. But overall I'm a handsome dog with personality plus! I weigh 62 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
To meet Opal, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Oh, Opal! This sweetheart 💗 came to us from a shelter in Louisiana 🎷, along with her brothers Odin and Ollie. All 3 of them pretty much grew up in the shelter and were their longest residents. Their time was running out ⌛️and luckily, we learned of their plight and brought them here. Both her brothers have found their furrytale ending 🏰 but poor Opal, or Opie, as we fondly call her, is still waiting for a foster and furever home. Opie is shy 🙈 but has ZERO fear-based reactivity/aggression. She warms up pretty quickly to both men and women once she’s had a chance to observe you and realize you just want to love on her 🤗. Treats 🍖 will pretty much make you her best friend in 5 minutes! 😀 Opal loves to play with other dogs 🐕 but can be a little scared of large or hyper dogs. However, she happily matches their energy once she realizes they’re not going to hurt her. ☺️ Opie loves children 👦👧 and will soak up all the love 💕 that little humans have for her. She’s crate trained (never soils her crate) and housetrained so caring for her is a breeze.👌🏼She’s also fantastic on leash 🦮; never pulls, never goes after small animals 🐿️🐈 and stays by your side at all times. While she loves being close to her person, she’s also independent and happy to play by herself 🎾. She is quiet in her playpen and waits patiently for you to make time for her. She is up for all sorts of outdoor adventures 🥾but is most content curled up next to you. 🛋️ We really want Opie to get a break from a boarding environment and into a loving home. If you can foster her for a few weeks please submit your application at www.thehausofdogs.com/foster . As always, food 🍖, collar, leash, crate and waste bags 💩provided. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Sugar! True to her name, Sugar is a sweet, 1 year old, 55 lb. Boxer mix who loves people and is looking for her forever home! Sugar has a lot of spunky energy and would do great with a family that can take her on walks and adventures and commit to her obedience training. Sugar can be very excitable around other dogs and has a lot of playful energy which may be off putting to some dogs but has been playful with the dogs in our care. She has not been tested with kids or cats, but we are recommending no small children as she is bouncy and could easily knock them over. Sugar is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Abby! This beautiful 8-month-old, 33-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Teddy is a very active, playful and loving little boy. He is the strongest and most bossy of his litter, but he is a mama's boy, a brave boy full of curiosity, intelligent, obedient, and a little shy with strangers, but with a little time he feels confident. He is learning to walk on a leash, and he does it very well! He learns quickly by motivating him with rewards. He looks like a tough boy, but he is a little dog who seeks a lot of love and affection. Story
HI - I'M BENJI! I'm a handsome 3-year-old Pit-Boxer mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back, where I was impounded as a stray, and now am waiting for someone to choose me! I'm a sweetheart and oh-so-gentle. I'm the kind of dogs who loves a good snuggle on a cozy couch. My mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for those quiet moments. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends. Speaking of friends, I get along well with my canine neighbors at my current location. I'm also quite the poser for pictures, and am quite handsome and attentive. I walk well on a leash and am an easy pal to have around. But what I'd love more than anything is a family to call my own. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. I weigh 57 lbs. He's brave, unafraid to explore new environments, and is a cuddle expert, making him the perfect companion for cozy evenings. He's been good with kids and non-destructive, making him a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to his size). He gets along well with some dogs, but is a big boy so needs a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, Bruce knows the value of a loving home. His sweet nature and gentle disposition make him a perfect companion. He weighs about 80 lbs.

Story
BLUE, a 2-year-old blue brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier, came to our rescue in an unusual way. The co-founder of our rescue had a random dream about Blue, an unknown dog at the time. The next day, the co-founder stumbled upon Blue, one of many urgent dogs at an over-crowded shelter, when searching for the dog in her dream. There Blue was, his sweet face begging for someone to help him. So now, Blue is safe! He is a sweet 60-pound boy who was kenneled with another dog at the shelter. He loves other dogs, and is loyal, smart, curious and loving. Need a hug? Ask Blue! He loves to give and receive hugs and get lots of human attention and affection. He is still a young boy so will need plenty of exercise and stimulation but overall, he's a couch potato in disguise and a dog to share your hopes and dreams. He's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of cuddles. He's currently looking for a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.
