People love me, and honestly, I love them right back! I've come SO far from that scared puppy in the garage. Now I'm the guy who greets everyone with a wagging tail and makes friends wherever I go. He came to us from an animal sanctuary after being dumped on the property, where he spent about a year living around other dogs, cats, children, and even livestock. Despite everything he’s been through, Raider has remained incredibly loving and gentle. He’s a sweet boy who forms deep bonds with his people and has a goofy, playful side that starts to come out once he feels safe and comfortable. Raider does great with other dogs and would love another dog in the home to help show him the ropes, keep him company, and be a built-in playmate. Having a confident canine companion would likely help him continue building confidence and settling into home life more comfortably. His biggest area of growth is confidence-building. He is such a sweet boy, and deserves to spend his golden years in a warm and loving home. Cody is a 8-9 year old, 60lb, Boxer/Shepherd mix. He is sweet and has lots of love to give, despite a rough beginning. He bonds deeply to his people and loves attention and affection. He is smart, enjoys treats and is glad to work for them! He will thrive in a home that can provide continued training and structure. He still has quite a bit of energy for an older pup and would love a home that will take him on walks to explore, and better yet, a home with his own fenced yard to run and play! He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 10 as he can be a bit jumpy when excited. Cody does well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'.
