Story
Big Jim is an 80-pound snuggle bug with a fawn coat, droopy eyes, and a big heart. He’s calm, gentle, and happiest when he’s soaking up attention or napping on the couch with his people close by. He loves his walks, rides great in the car, and has quickly learned that his crate means comfy naps and treats. He’s housebroken, walks beautifully on leash, and knows a few commands — though he’s still not convinced “lie down” is necessary. Bigs isn’t much for toys, but give him a bully stick, a pup cup, or a soft blanket and he’s set. He’d do best as the only pet in the home — he loves having his people all to himself. This sweet boy is just looking for a family who enjoys walks, car rides, and plenty of cuddle time. If you’ve got room in your home (and on your couch), Big Jim’s your guy. Story
Female 4 Years Old 75 pounds Great With Other Dogs Happy Valley, OR Harley is a beautiful 65-pound fawn boxer who loves being close to her people. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s included in daily life—whether that’s going for a walk, riding in the car, or keeping you company at home. She has medium energy and enjoys daily walks or hikes. Being outside and having simple “jobs” like watching out the window help her feel calm and settled. Harley is housebroken, rides well in the car, and is easy for grooming. She’s learning not to jump when excited and continues to improve with gentle guidance. Harley can be anxious when left alone and does best with someone who is home most of the time. She prefers being with her people and doesn’t love being confined without them nearby. Harley would do best as the only dog, as she has struggled with other dogs and can be reactive on leash. She is great with adults and has done well around children, though a home without very young kids is best due to her strength and enthusiasm. Her ideal home is with an experienced, confident adopter who can provide structure, exercise, and consistency. In return, Harley will be a deeply loyal and loving companion. Story
Sydney 10 years old Female Good with other dogs Fostered in Williams, OR   She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart; she just needs her person to find her. Sydney is looking for her forever people This sweet girl is 10 years young and still has so much life and love to give. Sydney is one of those dogs who just makes you smile — she’s playful, happy, and loves nothing more than chasing her ball and being with her people. She’s fantastic with other dogs and would love a buddy to hang out with. Cats, though? Not so much. She’s hoping for a cat-free home where she can just soak up all the love (and treats!) she can get. Sydney might have a few years under her belt, but don’t let that fool you — she’s still full of energy and spunk. She’s the perfect mix of silly and sweet — the kind of dog who’ll run around the yard with you one minute and then curl up for a nap right by your side the next. She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart, she just needs her person to find her. If you think Sydney sounds like your kind of girl, we’d love to hear from you. https://www.nwboxerrescue.org/adoption-form Let’s get this amazing girl home. Story
Male One Year Old Good With Dog No Cats Good With Kids Deaf Requires Another Dog in Home Hi, I’m Oso. I’m a one-year-old Boxer with plenty of energy and a big personality. I also happen to be deaf, but that doesn’t hold me back. I’ve already learned sit, lay down, come, and stay using ASL, and I pick up new things quickly—especially when there are treats involved. I walk nicely once we’re outside, though I can be a bit stubborn about getting my collar and leash on. Once it’s on, I like to carry the leash to the door myself. I have good manners too—I sit before meals, go into my crate on my own, and I’m great with the dog door. I love other dogs, but I can play a little rough with smaller ones. A home with another dog closer to my size would be a good fit, since I watch and learn from them. Cats probably aren’t the best match, and because I have big zoomies that can send furniture sliding, a home without very young kids would be safest. Some of my favorite things are walks, camping, car rides, and curling up with my foster dad. I also enjoy “helping” in the garden, especially if I get a few slices of fresh cucumber as a snack. I may not hear the world around me, but I pay close attention and adapt quickly. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and energetic Boxer to share life’s adventures, I’d love to meet you. Story
Damon 8 YO 70 Pounds Kid & Dog Friendly Fostered in Edmonds, WA Hi, I'm Damon! I have been described as the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly charm! I might be 8, but I am a Boxer, so that comes with a lot of charm and those antics you know and love. I really love fetch and would do well with a large space to play ball in where I can show off my skills and get some zoomies out. As much as I love to play, I am happiest curled up next to my people. I will happily sleep on my dog bed but would be overjoyed to spoon with you on any bed, couch, or chair. I respond to most basic commands and have been working diligently on my leash manners, I will be a pro in no time. I thrive around people- lots of people- and love kids! I have even been living with a cat. I am a sweet boy that is the complete package and I'm ready to fill your home and lap with love!
