Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 7-year-old Boxer/Cattle dog is our best guess. She weighs about 50 pounds. She has the most adorable underbite. She had an older man as her owner and he died and now Pumpkin is looking for her forever home. Her teeth are clean and she will not need a dental anytime soon. The older man that owned her took good care of this girl. She is a lower energy girl that would love an older couple or older single person to call her new family. She loves attention here at the rescue and she is really not sure what just happened. Every time we get her out of the kennels to walk her she is looking for her new owner. We are honored to help this charming dog. She would be great for someone wanting a companion dog. She is potty trained, leash trained and very sweet. She is getting all her vaccines topped up and will be looking for her forever home. She will be an easy dog to bring in as she isn’t too energetic and has lived in a home until recently so she is very mannerly. She doesn’t jump up which is a bonus in a rescue dog. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Nahala to CCPAL Rescue. He is an 8-month old dog. We believe his breed to be Boxer/Lab. He has a ¾ tail that is thick. He may have been born with a shorter tail. He is very outgoing, friendly and energetic. He is going to be a fun one to work with as he does want to please and he is very social. He would be great for any public setting as he is friendly with all people even without proper introduction. He has more of the thicker coat which would be more of a lab coat with a white bird marking on his chest. He is also not overly vocal at the rescue. He would be best with someone who has a fenced yard as he could do some of his running around in the yard and not have to do it all on leash. He is friendly with other dogs and he loves the kennel techs at the rescue. He is decent on the leash after he has gotten to burn off some of his energy. He would love an outdoorsy family to join that want an active dog companion to join them in all the outdoor activity. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He could go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Blue Bonnet to CCPAL Rescue. She is a super sweet, gentle, and playful 2 year old pup! She is a mixed breed dog and weighs just over 50 pounds. We believe her breed to be Boxer/Mastiff. She is healthy, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Her foster mom says that she easily settles into different environments and will peacefully snooze on a dog bed or couch while she waits for her humans or dog friends to invite her along for a walk or playtime. She is house trained and does very well in the car. She is a smart pup and likes to explore. She has been around cats and dogs with no negative reaction, and her previous foster parents said she did well around children and babies. She loves to cuddle and will happily sleep right by your side! When her foster mom had her rest in a crate, Blue Bonnet was a bit stressed (panting) so instead she was left to roam free in the living room overnight. She slept perfectly! We don't think she would need to be crated when left alone at home, but if that is something you want to be able to rely on, she could warm up to it with lots of positive experiences in a crate setting. She is still learning basic commands and how to walk on a leash without pulling towards something exciting, so she will need someone that is patient and can handle her strength when walking on a leash. She is very quick to learn with positive training! Blue Bonnet is a happy and silly girl and will be a wonderful best friend for an individual or family that will give her lots of affection, exploration, and play time! She is in Texas living with a foster family and 3 other dogs. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Check out her cute video! Meet Newt! Newt and his brother found themselves in rescue at just 1 week old with no mom. They received round the clock care and were bottle fed until they grew big and strong enough to eat on their own. He plays with other dogs of all sizes and he loves to eat! Newt is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $395 with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Meet GrimmMy name is Grimm and I’m on the hunt for my fairy tail ending. I am a Pitbull Presa Canario mix according to my DNA test. And by looking at my color, one would think I’m cookies and cream ice cream but my proof paper says I’m part Neopawlitan Mastiif ice cream. Cool! I sound yummy. Foster Mom says I’m a big loving goof ball but one would think soccer ball based on my coloring. Or futbol as my Spanish hairytage might say. I’m quite a regal breed mix. Staffordshire England and Presa Canario Spanish, wow, fancy. No wonder I wear a tuxedo-ish outfit. I love all sports such as playing in water, team sports such as romping in the yard with my mates and any other outdoor games whether it’s a futbol, football or soccer ball. When I’m not having fun, you can find me chilling on the floor or couch. I’m house and crate trained too. I know SIT and leash walking. I can learn a bunch more if you teach me, I’m a quick learner and very attentive to humans. After all, they know how to open treat jars. I am good with other dogs and kids. I haven’t bothered the kittens in the cat condo but more testing could be done if you have cats. I’m pretty sweet though, so might be fine. I would be very happy and proud to be your dog. Oh, and although my DNA test doesn’t list it specifically, I’m also 100% Hunk and 100% Good Boy but if that math doesn’t add up, don’t worry, dog math works different. Basics:Grimm- neutered male, large, DOB 1/16/21, white/black spots, vaccinated, chipped, American Staffordshire Terrier/Presa Canario, house/crate trained, good with dogs, good with kids, okay with cats (more tests needed), playful, attentive, sweet, knows sit and has leash experience How To Adopt:Pitty Paws Bully Rescue in Victoria Texas. What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me:· My foster parent says I'm a "snuggler and a lover!"· In my free time I enjoy wrestling with my stuffy toys and parading large sticks around to show off!· I love being next to my people! In fact, it's my personal mission to snuggle as closely to my friends as I can...sharing a blanket, of course!· I'm a very handsome gentleman!
