Story
Plumeria is a precious, gentle spirit who, despite having been through a lot as a kitten on the streets, has maintained her trusting and deeply loving nature. She's shown great resilience, and once she settles in, becomes incredibly affectionate and loves to make biscuits on and around her human companions!
She loves soft pets, chasing her laser toy, and the comfort of being close to the people she trusts. She loves to chat with her humans and foster siblings, using the most adorable meows! Once she feels safe, her playful kitten side begins to shine, reminding everyone that resilience and joy can go hand in hand.
She is looking for a loving family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and the lifetime of love she deserves. If you're looking for a companion whose courage is matched only by her sweetness, this beautiful little survivor is ready for her happy ending.
**Kitten will either need to be adopted as a pair, or go to a home with another playful cat or kitten.**
Currently in foster care in Glassell Park. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.
All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.
We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.
We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.
If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
