Whether she had been surviving quietly on her own or was left behind, we may never know. What’s clear is that she was an incredibly devoted and protective mother. Now that her kittens are grown, Maribelle is ready for a home of her own. She’s a thoughtful, observant cat who prefers to take things in before jumping in. She enjoys gentle pets—sometimes short, sometimes longer—and will let you know what she’s comfortable with. She’s generally a quiet companion with a soft presence and a strong appreciation for cozy resting spots but she has a playful side that is a joy to witness. Maribelle isn’t the type to demand attention right away, but for someone who understands cats and respects their pace, she offers something really special: a calm, loyal presence and a bond that builds over time. * Available in Shelter for Meet & Greet * Olive is a stunning tortie-calico with a look we can only describe as “Batcat.” Her primarily black face creates the cutest little mask shape, complete with an orange mustache and huge eyes that make her impossible to forget. Before coming to Peter Zippi, Olive was tossed over a fence in Inglewood while heavily pregnant. Less than 24 hours later, she gave birth in a stranger’s backyard. Thankfully, the homeowners immediately reached out for help and Olive safely made her way into foster care with us. Despite her rough start, Olive is exceptionally friendly, confident, and very people-oriented. She was a devoted mama to her kittens, but those days are officially behind her. Now spayed and retired from motherhood, Olive is ready for her next chapter as a full-time house cat and loving companion. She’s playful, athletic, expressive, and full of personality.June 15, 2026, 4:30 pm

We understand that "Christmas" Holly was born on Christmas 2020, and now we have listed her for adoption on Thanksgiving 2021! That is pretty sad for such a lovely girl. Meet Coco, an 8 month old female calico. I got Coco from a rescue shelter and she became comfortable in her new home very quickly. Coco is a curious and independent kitten that can keep herself entertained for long periods of time. She is an indoor cat but enjoys going outside for a walk in a cat backpack. She is very easy going and keeps to herself but loves to be played with or chasing around a ball. Coco loves to be rubbed on her head, especially under her chin or along her ears and also biscuits for comfort. She is litter trained and adjusts well to change. She mostly eats dry food but eats 1.5 cans of wet food a day. Coco is not picky and will eat any type of cat food. I am looking for a new home for Coco as I have to move to China to be with family. I am looking for loving parents who are looking to take in a sweet playful and curious kitten!

Story
Sweet little Rosie is one of the lucky ones. Her mom decided to give birth inside of a box in the middle of a very crowded and busy warehouse. The employees discovered the kittens one day when they were moving things around. A trap was set to try and secure Mom but instead of getting Mom, we got the Dad. Without mom around, we had to pivot very quickly and get the kittens to a bottle feeder. Rosie and her four siblings were hand raised, bottle fed by Becky and Scott and had the companionship of their dog Honey. The entire litter is extremely friendly and super active. They love to play with each other, other kitties, and of course, the dog. They enjoy playing with all kinds of kitty toys, running through tunnels, and climbing up cat trees. Their favorite thing to do when they’re tired is to cuddle up on laps or a chest. They are very affectionate and like to snuggle with people and other kitties. Easy to pick up and carry around. They have excellent litter box habits, they free feed kitten, dried food, and get wet food every day. Rosie needs to be adopted with one of her siblings, if the adopter doesn’t already have a cat under the age of three years old. If the home has a cat, friendly dog, then that’s a bonus. The kittens are fixed, vaccinated, micro, chipped, negative for leukemia, and FIV, treated for fleas and worms. If you had to get all of this done on your own, it would cost you 2 to 3 times as much. Adoption fee $300

Moira and her sister, Delia, were orphaned and rescued from the shelter at two days old with just 30 minutes before their deadline. They came into rescue cold and hungry, but after coming into our care, their strength and will to survive was evident. Once they regained strength and were stable, they have absolutely thrived in foster care over the past two months and have been an absolute joy. Delia, the “leader” of the two, has the sweetest, bright-eyed face who purrs the moment you pick her up to cuddle. She loves playing with her fuzzy ball, carrying it around wherever she goes - and has even started to fetch! Because, they are a bonded pair, including Moira's description here: Moira has the cutest “eepy” face, loves to follow Delia around and join whatever fun she’s getting into. She is a shoulder cat in-the-making, who loves to cuddle/sleep and purr on your shoulder, chest, lap the moment you sit down. Her current favorite toy is a little mouse that she likes to carry to her food bowl. You couldn’t find a pair of sweeter, cuddly, loving, and silly kittens. These bonded bestie sisters are truly special and I know the perfect forever family will be so lucky to have them.
