You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Ashes. I came to KSC from a shelter where the noise and barking dogs really upset me. It’s so nice to be in an all cat shelter! The caregivers tell me I’m a beautiful girl and I love when they pet me. I’m used to being an only kitty, so I think I would prefer to be in a quiet home with no other pets and no small kids. Meet Burrito, an adorable all-white cat with a few black spots and the sweetest personality. She’ll be 1 year old in September and is truly a wonderful companion. She is: • Very friendly and affectionate • Great with kids • Gets along well with other cats • Loves to play, but also enjoys cuddling and relaxing • Loves sitting in windows watching the world go by We aren’t sure how she does with dogs, as she hasn’t been around them. Burrito’s story is a little unexpected. We originally agreed to temporarily care for her after someone with a litter of kittens couldn’t keep her. She was supposed to be picked up by someone who lived out of town, but they were never able to come get her. Since then, she’s become part of our family alongside our other cat. Unfortunately, we’re moving and can only take one cat with us, so we’re looking for a loving home for Burrito as soon as possible. We really don’t want to take her to a shelter.
