Sparkle's name is perfect for her because she truly has something special about her - that sparkle that makes her shine! She is the sweetest girl with the most beautiful eyes that look deep into your heart and make you feel like the most important person in the world. Sparkle is just as loving as she is beautiful and enjoys being close by her foster moms side on the couch or sleeping with her in bed. She loves human companionship and attention. Sparkle had a bit of a health setback earlier this year but made a full recovery and is now ready for adoption. She is good with other kitties in her foster home and would enjoy a kitty friend! To be considered as a potential adopter, complete an adoption application. Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved. Out of this world sisters....new arrivals 8 mos old Galaxy and Universe were rescued from a rural No.Carolina shelter where they were found as strays. They are sweetness through and through. Both are gentle love bugs with soft fur and sweet dispositions; Affectionate and social lap sitters who will greet you at the door and always eager for attention. They will twine around your legs, push their head into your hand to be petted and turn on their purr machine with delight. They'd be the purrfect work-from-home buddies or happy to birdwatch until you get home. Well suited for apartment living. They come fully vetted and microchipped, too! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.In search of a loving SPECIAL NEEDS permanent home. This handsome boy's name is Smokey. Although he is young, and full of energy, he has an underlying heart condition. He has a disease called HCM that causes the heart muscle to thicken and eventually fail. To try to keep his heart working well as long as possible, he needs to be medicated every day with a tiny piece of pill in the morning and evening. (He will also need a yearly visit with the cardiologist for an echocardiogram.) Even with this medication, his heart will one day fail. He could realistically get anywhere from months to years of good quality life. He needs an understanding special needs home that will give him the extra care and attention he needs/craves; one that accepts it is the quality of time not the quantity that makes life worthwhile. He is a very sweet boy, he just wants to be your one and only. His only activity restriction is to avoid high intensity situations. Please reach out if you can open your home to this handsome boy. Hi, we are Lola (orange) and Lulu (tabby).  We were very scared little ones when we came to KSC but we have gotten a lot better.  We now love pets and head scratches but are not huge fans of being picked up.  We absolutely LOVE to play and get in the middle of all the activities and we snuggle so well together (and with other kitties).   PS:  Lola does have herpes virus which is not uncommon in cats; sometimes she's congested and gets weepy eyes but enjoys having her face washed.  It certainly doesn’t slow her down but a nice quiet forever home together would be ideal.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. June 2, 2023, 8:59 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Asoka is a wonderful orange and white female cat. She loves to play and is a great adventurer. She even plays fetch! She plays well with her foster brothers as long as they don't get too crazy. This little girl was born with spinal deformities, but they don't slow her down. She does hop like a bunny but she is quick!  She does occasionally have accidents but her foster mom has found ways to minimize those!
