"I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose" Take one look at adoptable Loki, and you will know that he indeed has been burdened with glorious purpose. He arrived at our facility as a local stray with a pretty significant infected wound on his face. Thanks to his Asgardian regenerative abilities (and some antibiotics and clean up), he is now healed up and looking great. We believe he is likely around 2 years old or so -- but whose counting? Not the timeless protector of the multiverse, that's for sure. He is a gorgeous embodiment of both beauty and mischief, gets along great with the other cats here in our communal adoption room, always uses the litterbox, and really is a nice guy. His adoption fee is $100, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and FELV/FIV negative. Stop by the shelter to meet Loki during our open business hours at 802 W. Roberto is a young adult male cat who arrived as a stray and was not reclaimed by an owner. He is a friendly boy and appears to be fine with other animals. He uses the litterbox here at the shelter. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Francie.  I'm a very typical calico female.  I'm hissy and a diva at first but once I get to know you I warm up.  I'm very independent, and like to play with my toys.  I like other kitties but love being the princess as well and doing my own thing.  I would be fine with another young kitty but would be best paired with a sibling I am already used to.  I might not do well with little kids but should be fine with older, respectful ones.  And I could possibly learn to tolerate a calm, respectful dog as well.  I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sally is an adorable little brown tabby with white markings.  She and her sister Ebony were living in a homeless encampment with their mother and sister.  The man taking care of them wanted them to have a better life so he found a couple of nice people to take them in.  Sally is very friendly, loves to play, especially chase.  She is great with other cats and would do best with another cat friend in her home.  She is most likely fine with kids and dogs with the right introduction.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   Her adoption fee is $225 ($400 if adopted as a pair) To adopt Sally, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 22, 2025, 2:59 pm
