Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nova is a beautiful black cat, born approx Oct 2024.  She came into her original foster home very weary of people but has since warmed up and has become a fun friend in the home.  She loves to play!  Her favorite things are chasing laser lights and springs around the house with the other cats.  She loves to be pet but the are a specific number of times and you won't know until you hit that number and she gives you a little nip.  She will need someone who can understand her cues and would do best with older, respectful kids  While she isn't a lap cat, she does love to be around the action and is usually found in the same room as her people.  She is fearless as well and has no issue with loud noises, vacuums, kids, etc.  She will need a home with another cat as that is her go to and she loves to play with them.  She might even tolerate a calm, respectful dog.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $150  To adopt Nova, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:58 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Francie.  I'm a very typical calico female.  I'm hissy and a diva at first but once I get to know you I warm up.  I'm very independent, and like to play with my toys.  I like other kitties but love being the princess as well and doing my own thing.  I would be fine with another young kitty but would be best paired with a sibling I am already used to.  I might not do well with little kids but should be fine with older, respectful ones.  And I could possibly learn to tolerate a calm, respectful dog as well.  I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 ($350 if adopted as a pair) To adopt Francie, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:58 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sally is an adorable little brown tabby with white markings.  She and her sister Ebony were living in a homeless encampment with their mother and sister.  The man taking care of them wanted them to have a better life so he found a couple of nice people to take them in.  Sally is very friendly, loves to play, especially chase.  She is great with other cats and would do best with another cat friend in her home.  Sally can be a little shy around young, loud, energetic kids so she would probably prefer calmer, older kids.  She has never met a dog before and might be okay with a calm, respectful, disinterested dog with the right introduction.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.   Her adoption fee is $225 ($400 if adopted as a pair) To adopt Sally, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2026, 12:06 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Rella.  I am a female tabby with pretty white accents.  I'm pretty quiet and shy at first and do take a while to warm up to new people.  I would do best in a quieter home although I do live with two younger kids and am getting used to them (but they are quite respectful).  I have not met a dog and might be okay with a calm, disinterested dog, with the right introduction.  I love other cats and am quite attached to my sister, Rena, and we need to be adopted together as a pair.  I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair To adopt Rella and Rena, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:58 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sid is seriously the softest kitten ever.  He is so cuddly and his favorite spot is curled up with you, purring away.  He would probably love one of those hoodies where you can carry him around in because he just always wants to be with his person.  He is great with other cats and would do best in a home with another cat or kitten.  He likes to play but doesn't have tons of kitten energy and has been a very respectful houseguest to his foster home.  When he isn't with his people he is usually napping in the sun.  He does fine with dogs as well and loves kids.  He is fixed, chipped, up to date on vaccines, neg felv/fiv, and been dewormed.   His adoption fee is $225 To adopt Sid, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 1:34 pm
