Meet Wilhemina (aka "One-Eyed Wils")!
Born around April 30, 2026, Wilhemina is a beautiful calico kitten with a story that proves just how resilient a tiny heart can be. After being found with severe trauma and infection to one of her eyes, she underwent surgery to have the eye removed. Today, this little survivor doesn't let her missing eye slow her down one bit. In fact, we think it just adds to her charm and earned her the adorable nickname "One-Eyed Wils."
Wilhemina can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take some time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations. But once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a sweet, affectionate kitten who loves being part of the action. She has lots of kitten energy and can turn just about anything into a toy. Whether it's a wand toy, a crinkly ball, or a cardboard box, Wilhemina is always ready for her next adventure.
One of her favorite things in the world is her foster sister, Simone. The two are often found racing around together, playing until they're exhausted, and then curling up side-by-side for a cozy nap. If you're looking for Wilhemina, chances are she's snuggled up next to Simone, her favorite companion and confidante.
Wilhemina thrives with feline companionship and must be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat or kitten who can match her energy level and provide the friendship she loves so much.
Because she startles easily and is still building confidence, Wilhemina would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the patience she needs to blossom.
Wilhemina's journey hasn't always been easy, but she faces the world with curiosity, courage, and a playful spirit. Beneath her slightly shy exterior is a loving little girl who just wants a friend to cuddle with, toys to chase, and a family to call her own.
If you're ready to open your heart to a special kitten with an inspiring story, endless energy, and the sweetest soul, One-Eyed Wils is ready to steal your heart.
