Story

Everyone, meet Whimsy! This outgoing five-month-old kitten is ready to find a forever home where she can fill your days with playtime, zoomies, and plenty of kitten chaos!Whimsy was found as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. These days, she’s making sure everyone knows just how fun she is! Every morning, she greets us with adorable somersaults in her kennel, often sticking her tiny white paws through the bars to say hello. It’s basically her way of demanding that breakfast and attention happen immediately. Once she’s out and about, Whimsy is on the move! She loves zooming around the room, exploring every nook and corner, and investigating anything that catches her eye. And toys? She absolutely loves them! String, feathers, rattles—you name it, Whimsy wants it. Her future family better be prepared to stock the toy box because this girl has plenty of playing to do!Whimsy does well with other cats and would love having a feline friend to keep her company. She’s also hoping for a human sibling who will give her plenty of cuddles and snuggle time once she’s finished with her daily zoomie adventures. Her adoption fee is $80, and includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and spay. She is already fixed. Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Artemis is a sweet loving boy who initially was not treated very good in life. He was found outside in the frigid cold frozen to the ground. Yes, you read that right. He was carefully removed and rushed to animal control in pretty bad shape. Wish upon a rescue grabbed him quickly and got him immediate vet care. He was fixed up and has been with his foster ever since. While the vets were fixing him up, they discovered a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy HCM and he is on daily meds which are required and are effective. He also has mild pulmonary hypertension that was a result of being in the severe cold. He gets an inhaler daily and is doing so well on his meds that the vets are attempting to wean him off a couple. This poor angel lived outside in the freezing cold, and this is a small price for us to pay. We are lucky he is alive. He is so sweet we think he just wore out his ticker storing all that love. He is well managed on medication and living his best life. He is by far the sweetest boy and loves to cuddle. If you are looking for an affectionate Velcro cat, he is your guy. He is currently taking applications for his forever home. Serious inquires only. We are going to be selective for him because he has been through enough and deserves nothing but comfort and love moving forward.
