This handsome five year old black cat was found injured near a local citizen’s home, covered in several painful puncture wounds from what we can only imagine was a traumatic attack. Thankfully, a compassionate woman stepped in and refused to let him suffer alone. She rushed him to an emergency vet, covered his extensive medical care, and opened her home to him while he healed. Despite everything he has been through, Portugal has proven just how strong he is. He may be FIV+, but that certainly does not define him. In fact, Portugal seems to know just how lucky he is to have been saved, and now he is ready to find a forever home where he can finally relax and feel safe again.
