Story
Funhouse is a two-year-old tabby with a cool, confident vibe and a personality all his own. He’s an independent guy who knows what he likes — and what he likes most is living life on his terms. He does well with other cats and coexists peacefully, but he’s not the clingy type. Funhouse is perfectly content finding his favorite sunny spot, lounging nearby, and observing the world with those thoughtful tabby eyes. He enjoys affection, but he appreciates a home that understands and respects his independent nature. If there’s one way to his heart, it’s wet food. Bring out a can and you’ll see his softer side shine through. Funhouse would do best in a home that values a laid-back, low-maintenance companion — the kind of cat who doesn’t demand constant attention but is always quietly present. If you’re looking for a handsome, self-sufficient roommate with classic tabby charm, Funhouse might just be your guy. He was recently adopted but returned as the resident dogs were not a fan of him. Funhouse is looking for a home without dogs. His adoption fee is $80, and includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. He is already fixed. Call our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333.

Recently surrendered after growing up in a basement, these sweet souls came to us under-socialized, overwhelmed, and beyond stressed in their new environment. The world felt big and scary at first. But with patience, gentle care, and plenty of love, they’ve completely transformed. The once timid trio has blossomed into affectionate, purring companions who now seek out attention and happily soak up being held and petted. They’ve discovered that people can be pretty wonderful after all. They do great with other cats and absolutely adore snuggles. Whether adopted together or separately, each of these little spirits is ready to leave their shadowy beginnings behind and start a bright new chapter filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Come meet Phantom, Ghost, and Spirit — and watch how quickly they’ll haunt your heart in the very best way. They are not bonded. Their adoption fee is $80 each, and includes their vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. They are already fixed.

Must apply in person.Feel free to call Forepaws for details at 779-456-7899Meet Thiago, a seven-year-old cat with a gentle soul who is looking for a fresh start. Thiago came to us after being abandoned in an apartment when his owners moved away, and the sudden change understandably left him feeling a bit down. While shelter life has been an adjustment, he’s been bravely working through his stress and is beginning to come out of his shell more each day. Thiago has lived with multiple cats in the past and continues to do well with feline companions, often finding comfort in their presence. He would thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands he may need time to settle in and rebuild his confidence. With kindness, stability, and a little understanding, Thiago has all the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. If you have a calm home and a soft spot for a cat who just needs a chance, Thiago may be the perfect match for you. His adoption fee is $80, and includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, current on flea preventive, and neuter. He is already fixed. Story
Draco (and sister Aurora, who much be taken together) were adopted from a barn cat birth in Wisconsin. They are 2 years old now. He is a large cat with a small head, has kept his sweet kitten voice, and is incredibly affectionate. He is playful, bold, outgoing, and absolutely loves people. He is incredible good with small kids (2-3 year olds). He’s a star as the vet and travels well. He would get along with our other cats in the home, but his sister is more reserved and so we believe they should go together.

Story
Aurora (and her brother Draco, who need to be adopted together) were adopted from a barn cat litter in Wisconsin. She’s 2 years old now. She incredibly sweet and affectionate once you earn her trust. She can start a little shy and wary, but warms up quickly. She does struggle at the vet and needs to be medicated, but with medication (will provide list of meds when adopted) she does well. She tolerates young kids, but appreciates a spot where she can get away from the noise and take some alone time. She’s good with her litter box and very playful once you get her trusting you. She’s an incredibly kind cat and loves calm quiet adults.
