Posh Spice and Sporty Spice came to us very shy and scared. With patience and love, they have come out of their shells and become very sweet young cats. They thrive on each other’s company, and they need to stay together. They are very curious and happy around other cats, so they would do very well in a multi-cat home. Both girls are polydactyl, which means they have extra toes and claws. They have more toes on both their front and back claws. Their front claws will need trimming more often than typical cats, as they have claws in the webbing between their “thumbs” and other toes. Moving to a new home may bring back some of their fear of new things, but with the right humans, they should adjust quickly. A home with young children may not be best for them. Our poor 2 year old female, Honey has been through a lot. We rescued her from a house with 30-40 cats of all different ages fending for themselves, with 2 litter boxes and only a few bowls of water and food. We found her as this calm little baby, but we knew her calm was because she was giving up. We brought her immediately to our vet and nursed her back to full health. She was separated from our 2 male cats for the month, because of ear mites and other problems that we’d addressed with vet. After that month the three cats mended and bonded so well, and she was the missing link to our family we didn’t know we needed. Then our son was born, and the trauma of her past came back, as we introduced an unpredictable small human (she’d never met kids) into the home. At first, she seemed well. After 6 months, we realize his presence brought out her past. Skittish, hides for days, won’t come out to eat. Will pee where she’s hiding, from fear of coming out. We’ve tried everything, help :( <\3

Meet Jiji, a 4-year-old tuxedo cat looking for a loving new home. Jiji was adopted as a kitten and has grown into a curious, playful cat who loves toys, high perches, and watching the world from above. She’s quiet most of the time, only vocal when she needs food or the litter box, and enjoys hiding in open drawers for cozy naps. She spent several years as an indoor cat but has recently enjoyed supervised outdoor time. She often wants to follow our dogs outside and will occasionally join us on short walks around the block. We are seeking an experienced cat owner who can give Jiji the attention and stimulation she needs. Due to increasing career demands, we no longer have the time to fully meet her needs, and we believe she would be happier in a home that can. Rehoming her is difficult, but our priority is Jiji’s happiness and well-being. Food, a travel carrier, shampoos, wall accesories and basic toys are included.
