Soot or "Sootsy" was my Moms cat for about 8 years until my mom passed away, she is a loving calm 9-10 yr old lap cat. She is a indoor black shorthair cat without front claws. She loves to be petted and sit in a recliner/chair with someone and be a warm snuggler. She gets along with other cats and small dogs. She is very loving to our children and other cat but has caused some issues with her special needs and needs a new home. She needs a home that does not have carpet in the area she will live, as she has digestion special needs that puts her into cycles about once a month where she vomits up, sometimes a little bit of blood. She has been to multiple vets and no solution, so we found a calm consistent food to help regulate her special needs. (Currently eating Purina indoor green bag. Tried science diet, Iams, puirina and pro biotics) She doesn't seem to be affected by the special needs but she does vomit more then a regular cat. Located in Chicagoland southwest suburbs. Travel OK

Hi! My name is Elvis, I was adopted as a kitten from a humane shelter all the way in Birmingham, AL. I am now 6 years old and recently got moved to Aurora, IL. I love to meow from time to time, cuddle up next to you and eat lol. I could use a good cat scratcher if you’ve got one too! I just want someone who will love me and my weirdo quirks like my mama does. She hates to see me leave, but wants me to be happy. Elvis doesn’t require much, just a little love and attention.

We took Maple in a few months ago when a friend found out she was pregnant and could not keep her or the kittens. She has since had the babies and they have all found loving homes. Maple was born in July 2024 is one year old. She is a very friendly cat and has done good with our other cats and small dogs. She loves affection and to talk to you. She is completely litter trained and has no other issues. We are looking for someone who will take good care of Maple and give her the love and care she deserves.

Hello! They call me Thumper. I am 1 years old, and I am a medium haired grey kitty girl. I'm somewhat shy but if you give me time and know how to bribe me (kitty treats!) I will be on your lap.I've learned while being in my foster home that the other kitties come to my foster family for affection. I say to myself Oh, I wish I could do that too. I watch and watch and guess what? I have started to come around and be closer to people in the past week. One day I got so brave I hopped on my foster Moms lap when she was watching TV. They call that baby steps but for a shy girl like me it's like one giant step. I like it when my foster Mom brushes my pretty fur. That's how my coat is so shiny and healthy. Also, I like it when me & my sister Po plus the other kitty girls hang out together. We have one big kitty pile and we groom each other. Hello, my name is Cinderella and I'm a grey tabby with hints of brown & honey fur. I'm a really pretty girl but on the older side. Some folks like the younger kittens so hopefully when you read my profile you'll be interested in me. I am 10 years young.I was found as a stray. Nobody knows how I got out in the wintertime but I'm so glad someone turned me and brought me to a local animal control. Maybe because I'm so friendly it was easy for my rescuer to bring me in. I was definitely someone's kitty at one time.My foster family took me to a vet and the kitty doctor said for gal my (estimated) age that my tests passed with flying colors! That's great news ... and I didn't even have to study for those tests (blood tests).I'm a chatty girl and I like to be held. My favorite place is your lap. If you like to sit and watch TV or read, I'll make a great companion. Maybe because my bones are a bit older, young kids I should have a caution and/or younger cats.I'm in a foster home that has other cats. I don't mind them, but I prefer my human better. Even though I'm in my "mature" years I have a lot of spunk. I love to play and be silly. I like when my foster Mom plays with me. I grab her hand, so she doesn't stop.
